Petri is better at screaming, but he obviously can't sing, so that's where Jari is better. But in the current line-up, you have two people who can actually sing so Jari's singing is unneeded.

I think Petri is doing a fantastic job. and he is a great guitar player and got nice growls :) | i love the way how he says "danke schön" :) sounds nice/ different to german ears ;D and it's nice that he just says danke schön. so much others musicians can't even say one word in the language, which is spoken in the land ^^ he's great

amazing show, but i prefer jari mäenpää's vocals on the songs from the 2 first albums. Petri Lindroos is a good vocalist too, his vocals r different than jari's but both of them can do really nice harsh vocals. Ensiferum rocks. Hail from Finland!

Yes there are, but its really harder than one might think. i know since i sing harsh for my band. First of all you feel like you run out of breath all the time, and if you start concentrating too much on playing guitar its easy to forget the words and sing "blaazing blaa hraa glaaa!!!"

Lyrics, or vocals? Lyrically, cannibal corpse is VERY easy to understand, and it's interesting to me too.

Vocally, CC can be quite indistinguishable, but that's for the untrained ear. I'm used to death metal and guttural vocals, so I mostly understand what's being sung.

Nothing wrong with that. Personally i dont think that Petri even reaches Jari's knees when it comes to vocal duties. Petri only has one mode of tone in his voice, and he cant sing cleanly. Jari can sing pretty much whatever you send his way, and sing it well, be it growling, clean, etc etc. But that is just my opinion :)
