  • Absolutely GORGEOUS, Kate! I'll have to try this soon. I'm fortunate enough to live in NJ, close to Suze Weinberg's studio, and I've taken many classes with her. So, I have a lot of leftover UTEE pieces and some frozen opals. Thanks so much for sharing this!

  • @ThePaperCastle Hi Heather - that must be a dangerous and expensive place to live with all of those wonderful products just calling to you :O) Thanks for the kind words.

  • Just Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gorgeous Gorgeous Finished Card and excellent tutoral and project. I have one question..what are frozen opals..I've never heard of them..definitely want to try this technique an look forward to your answer. Thanks so much for sharig this wonderful project.

  • @TheMoparlvr Hi - the frozen Opals are little flakes of clear product with tiny pieces of irridescent film within. They come set but are able to be melted with a heat gun or similar tool. It is often used with Polymer clay and jewelry making and available from polymer clay stores mostly. If you look at the full description for this clip, right at the bottom is a link to my blog and on there I have a bunch of links to the products I have used in this clip. Hope this helps.
