  • ROGER WATERS SI THE PAIN

    IN THE ASS OF NEOCONS.

  • Pure genius Roger lad! Would love you to make another trip to Lebanon, perhaps you'll find the children of those who helped you when your car didn't function.

    Lebanese one here as well.

  • so nice song

  • shut up and sing we want music not an opinion

  • @lulutalia Pink Floyd is mass-produced corporate rock just like Bieber. You stoners are too stupid to realize you're being force-fed by the big greedy record companies. The music critics working for the big record companies tell us that Pink Floyd is legendary and influential, so they must be right? Wrong! The members of Pink Floyd were so stoned, they thought their own feces tasted like strawberries.

  • @hectorsalinasisback yeah waters like all wealthy lefties think 'peace" is something so acheiveable, but guess what he couldn't handle floyd, clapton couldn't stand touring with him, he's a dicatator! Yet he thinks the world should all smile and get along, Ha!

It also looks like he's got one of those $500 dollar Edwards hair cuts! oh the vanity

  • @valhalla905 I like Water's but he is a Fascist, for 1 dictating floyd, and fucking being a Left-Wing

  • @Colin2k41 Fascist??? Roger Waters? Egocentric, perhaps. Or in any case.

    Greetings.

    Gabriel.

  • @Triviust Its a form of Dictatorship, thats all

  • @Colin2k41 OK, maybe. Without explanations then. For what? We appreciate your music. From Roger or Pink Floyd.

    Enjoy your life.

    Gabriel.

  • Roger Waters is a fucking baller.

  • I don't know how Roger Waters do it.... I mean... by almost any standar he is a very bad singer... yet I can't imagine a single person singing this song better than him

  • Great Sax that man but otherwise utter tosh and appeasement to a corner of the world that can't work it out so utterly worthless, god gets what god wants man....

  • "Oh Rick, Oh Rick..that Texas education must have fucked you up when you were very small"

  • Bought from iTunes yesterday. If you are reading this, follow my example.

  • Thank you Radio K.A.O.S as always

  • "Oh George! Oh George!

That Texas education must have fucked you up when you were very small."

  • The genius Roger!

  • HECTOR SALINAS IS BACK is so gay...Justin Beaver fan...and david does not look like a pedophile...i think you are...and the dark side of the moon has nothing to do with homo oncesoever...i think you are the homosexual and they are pleasing to hear...so there you have it Hector YOU ARE A PEDOPHILE, JUSTIN BEAVER FAN, HOMOSEXUAL THAT LIKES RAINBOWS AND OBVIOUSLY YOU SOUND LIKE CRAP FOR POSTING YOU HOMO OPINION..HA HA HA HA

  • @cesar6814

HECTOR SALINAS IS BACK is so gay...Justin Beaver fan...and david does not look like a pedophile...i think you are...and the dark side of the moon has nothing to do with homo oncesoever...i think you are the homosexual and they are pleasing to hear...so there you have it Hector YOU ARE A PEDOPHILE, JUSTIN BEAVER FAN, HOMOSEXUAL THAT LIKES RAINBOWS AND OBVIOUSLY YOU SOUND LIKE CRAP FOR POSTING YOU HOMO OPINION..HA HA HA HA

  • @cesar6814 fuck yous fags talkiing about! go on to a gay chat line homos, floyd has nothing to do with your jerry springer problems, n throw a punch like a man, don't swipe sissy!

  • David Gilmour looks like a pedophile. Pink Floyd is and will always be self-indulgent mass-produced stoner rock garbage. Pink Floyd fans are the worst, they get defensive because they know they're nerds. The rainbow triangle on the cover art to the Pink Floyd album Dark Side Of The Moon suggests they are homosexual, but it's not for me to judge. If they are gay, I respect their decision to live that lifestyle. However, Pink Floyd's music is not pleasing to the ear; it sounds like crap.

  • i love rog i floyd but this man can be prejudice, that one looks jewish, and that ones a coon, who let all this riff... the point being , dave, slap him! reunite fuckers, carin does excellent work, i love n miss rick , but you have to get the band together!! you just have to!

  • @floydnzep66 You don't understand the idea behind that song, Roger Waters is certainly not prejudice in the slightest. You misunderstand the lyrics. Satire my friend, satire. He is playing a character, Pink, who in this song represents a fascist.

  • @floydnzep66 Dude you need to go back and follow Roger Waters from the beginning - early Floyd - and read all his lyrics while you listen to the music. If you're too lazy, get "Amused to Death" with the lyrics and just read that. He's anything BUT prejudice, he's the king of using sarcasm and poetry to get his point across. Besides a great musician, he's one of the greatest poets alive - we are lucky enough to experience it while he's alive.

  • Snowy White rules.

  • I was the 1200th who likes this video. it's my real pleasure.

  • How could anyone dislike this ?

  • @3abedthedude I bet those 40 people put a "like" on Alan Jackson's idiot song...The douchebag that can't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran.

  • I have two autographed pictures of Roger that some Communist named Emily Freeburg of Seattle took!

  • I remember seeing him live in Brisbane February 2006...i'd never heard of this song until i saw him live...and i cried right through it once i knew what the song was about...spoke directly to my soul <3 PINK FLOYD FOREVER

  • Oh George! Oh George!

That Texas education must have fucked you up when you were very small

  • so glad i was able to watch this live...this went straight to my life's highlights...

  • it touched every piece in my heart. thanks Roger

  • @lunac1 Get back to me when your hamster does a charity for every family that lost a dad in WWII on the bunker where Hitler killed himself.

  • @Hister333 I love the way that you compare Roger Waters to a hamster! I might have compared him to a worm, or possibly a capitalist pig! The Fucking Hypocrite!

  • 40 members of the Christian right watched this video.

  • One critic thought this song had brilliant lyrics but was weak on the instruments... You don't have to have two guitars and a drum playing on every song for it to be music. The Final Cut is probably disliked for that reason, the wrong reason. The lack of many instruments creates the perfect atmosphere. This song is a masterpiece.

  • His father also went to speak at a Jerusalem School in the1930's and was very concerned at the Zionist agenda to terrorize the native Palestinians .

  • all respect roger waters.. i'm lebanese and I know what you're saying.. thank you ... thank you ... thank you roger waters.. thank you for being such an artist.. thank you for pink floyd and thank you for giving us this great feeling that music can change the world and make it a safe place to be.. peace is the answer roger.. it's peace you're talking about

  • @vitokuloanaj please like the page "we want roger waters in lebanon" on facebook even if you're not lebanese to try to get waters to perform in beirut in his last tour. (/TheWallLeb)

  • @vitokuloanaj i recently found out that roger waters have a song about beirut !! and it made my eyes leak actually !! i'm lebanese as well :)

  • "Don't let the might of the christian right fuck it all up for you and the rest of the world"

Never was the f-word better used in the history of music.

  • Gänsehaut pure

  • "Our Country prides itself on Innocent till proven guilty. We are so guilty of indiscriminately dropping bombs in Pakistan and Afghanistan under the guise ridding the world of terrorism. The collateral damage was killing innocent Muslim women and children living in small villages. Was George so blinded that he couldn't see? We have the technology to hit the right target. Confused? Yes, Read "Three cup of Tea" then tell me just who is the enemy. Even though I am not, being Muslim is not a crime.

  • America, America, please help us when we call!

by italian people caught in Berlusconi reign.

  • @SyDiamond22 please HEAR us when we call ;)

  • but now, an englishman abroad is just a US stooge

  • Whoever filmed this was retarded. They never focused on the images displayed on the screen, which narrated the story. At any rate, this song perfectly sums up how I feel about the Iraq war and war in general, and the not-so-pure motives of the people behind it. That Texas education not only f--ked George up, but by extension the entire country.

  • Man....great song. I just saw Roger the Master perform THE WALL...it was great....but his Dark Side Tour was Epic....better musically and i thought an overall more uniform show with better songs.....

  • I first heard Roger do this song on his Dark side of the Moon tour at the tweeter center and had to find and listen to it over & over. I am so in awe of his TALENT !! I just saw the Wall Tour in Hartford and am going to New Jersey to see it AGAIN !! I do HOPE this won't be his LAST TOUR as We need To Be Inspired By HIS GENIOUS !! I personaly want to THANK Roger for All He Has Done For Us All.

  • @llplourde30 I, too, was exposed to this tune for the first time at his gig here in Vancouver a few years ago for the Dark SIde tour. This song gave a cold chill throughout GM Place. When he mentioned Bush the place was rockin. Then someone who sat beside me said he was booed at a show in the states for singing that part

  • @olias88

The comment of the fellow that sat next to you bums me out, but it doesn't surprise me.

I can't help but hope that myself and the rest of my fellow countrymen aren't judged by the international community for the actions of the more small minded among us, but I'm afraid that we are.

  • @olias88 yea.. I was at the Las Vegas show.. I saw a bunch of people get up and leave at that point. What a bunch of idiots.

  • I applaude Roger for taking a STAND and AGREE with the message of this song!! I think we should try to love one another and not kill each other. I think we need to be very careful who are leaders are acting in our names !! Thank you Roger for your incite. The world needs more People like you!!

  • Yeah, I was always a fan of Pink Flyod but I underestimated the talent of Roger Waters..I saw Roger do the Wall here in Boston last sunday and then suddenly this odd thought occurred to me...Roger filled in the void of John Lennon for me...Roger is more polished but John is just simply...."living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding is all you see."..I hope Roger dosen't lose the energy he has because who is left to pickup the torch?????

  • Snowy white can wail.....wow.

  • The might of the Christian right??? Wait till Sharia law judges you!

  • @bullfury19(2of2) But I can agree with you that the meaning is not clear & the song should not haveused such idioms, as how ever well meaning it is an extremely sensitive subject

If You listen to the beginning he refers To The British man as Being "American Stooge" (a stooge is part of a slap stick comedy act, & is the one who get hit in the face by pies & eggs)

  • @bullfury19 (1of2) I think you misunderstood the context of the sentence, As he was condeming NOT praising The Christian Malisha. He sang DONT LET The Might Of the Christian Right Fuck it all Up. ( "fuck it all up" is Crud English expression The Correct English The meaning would be: Spoil it or Ruin it. Hope that helps.

  • This is a little long for this style of song. It sounds like something that wasn't good enough for the Final Cut. Sounds like a nice try but not the same chemistry as Pink Floyd. Just more leftovers from the refrigerator. I think Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, Animals and all of the Syd Barrett stuff was awesome but I never thought much of Waters without Floyd or Floyd without Waters. I wouldn't waste $150 to see him, that's for sure.

  • Roger Happy Birthday

  • roger waters rule!!!!

  • i just love him...he never stops blowing me away

  • I've just spent the best part of an hour trying to find this song... It was worth every min.

  • Whoever it is , Waters or Gilmour, who is NOT or is REFUSING to work with the other is SELFISH and should tear down that wall that is preventing you from doing so !

Pink Floyd is enjoyed by so many , please think of us too when you decide not to work with eachother.

  • I think Richard..I mean Roger (he looks more and more like Richard Gere) should stop playing music and go hunt foxes instead. And maybe he can decorate the WALLs of his Louis XVI mansion with trophies and tell us even more about his grandfather, father and his father's sister and the Britain they died for. I think he should make a record of him reading his father's diary (which his father's sister gave him) that is full of anecdotes about fox hunting and brave British countryside men!!!

  • @RingelhutsNiece lmao you just cant stand seeing him speaking the truth

  • And without all the other Allied Countries, we would not have had resistance fighters, other armies, and people who fought against the fascist forces. The US wasn't completely responsible for the victory in Europe, or even in Asia, as the British and the Soviets also fought their. But nether was any other country, it was a joint force that defeated the Axis Powers, so every Allied Country was responsible, not just one.

  • Stop arguing about whether Britain, The USSR, or the US, or any other country was completely responsible for the defeat of Germany. The truth is, without the other, victory would have been impossible. Without USSR, all of Germany's troops would be on the Western Front, and probably taken over Britain. Without Britain, no one except France would have fought Germany, or provided bases near Europe. And without the US, the British and the soviets would not have gotten weapons. They needed each other

  • Siekriel, I'm fairly certain that is an a amazingly great clarinet at the beginning. Great stuff, eh?

  • is that some sort of saxophone in the beginning?? What instrument is that exactly? BEAUTIFUL

  • that Texas Education must fave fucked you up when you were very small

  • So you mean to tell me the USA had nothing to do with helping out in World War 2. D Day you retard. My point is that Waters is quick to snap at The Brits and Americans for going to war and says nothing about the damn Islamists who have no regard for human life. "picking up a 2by 4, the arab opening the door...hahaha, with a bomb strapped around his waist maybe. Sing about Barret and your own experiences. I love Dark side of the Moon. and everything before that. Syd a true artist and Gilmour!!

  • @bullfury19 those artist they discover the truth after they were insulting the Arab like Roger water in the Album hitchhikers and so Chris de Burgh in the Album crusaders

now both went to Lebanon to sing or to sing about it probably you will discover the truth one day 19 years young chap

  • I love Pink Floyd. All their music, from Syd to David and Roger. I just don't like some of his crap when it comes to blaming The U.S. and Britain for the current and past wars. When it was the U.S.A. that saved us all from the Germans. We lost countless lives joining in the fight. Where are your songs "Roger" about the Islamists who kill civilians and are responsible for more of their own peoples deaths than any one else.....Still love Floyd but his political views are messed up!!

  • @bullfury19 Bullshit. It was not the Americans that saved us from the Germans, it was the british. Jsut as in the first war, if the British had not stepped the Germans would have simply owned Europe. The French simply folded like a pack of soggy cards despite some individual bravery. Britain and the empire alone stood against the Germans while even the yanks kept up diplomatic relations with the Germans. Throughout h would have folded like a pack of soggy cards.

  • @bullfury19 What? The US didn't "join" the fight, the Japs forced them into it. They weren't there in 1939, 1940 or even 1941. And "you" or the US didn't stand up to the Germans. The British and the Empire did. The frogs had long given up except for a few 100k. As in the first war, the British intervened and provided the sole stabilising force until "others" decided what was good for them. And the Russkis and Germans were in cahhots until the germans turned on them let's not forget that.

  • @dpsherry So u think the Brits could've done it alone????? Really??? Waters is going to talk crap about Texas and then come here and make money!! That's what I don't like. I like his music, just wished he held everyone to the same standard. It was America and England who made him rich, by the way!! Let's not forget that!!

  • @dpsherry Exactly, The US joined the war after Pearl Harbour, the British Army done the vast majority of the work in defeating the Germans.

  • @irena7777777 The heroics of the British people and the brilliance of Winston Churchill had a lot to do with defeating the germans. The USA was providing England with weapons, supplies and Military intellegence even before it officially entered the war. After pearl harbor America turned its industiral machine to work producing more weapons than ever before in history and fought a war on many fronts including the war of the pacific.

  • @cloudchaser07 Good old US of A.

  • @irena7777777 "the British Army done the vast majority of the work in defeating the Germans."

    LOL.

Have you ever heard of a small country called "Russia" by chance? Once we (Britain and America) put pressure on the Western front, the Russians defeated Germany.

  • @irena7777777

Also, Germany sent more troops to the Eastern front which made the battles in the West against a full, well trained resistance.

  • @bullfury19 your brain is been messed up first and washed with special soap I will give you some of my time if you want to know this kind soap

  • @baitadonis1 I think the soap you're using is messed up. You know what they say liberalism is a mental disorder. And that you have!!!

  • @bullfury19 according to FBA non of the 9,11 attackers was Afghani most they were from Saudi Arabia so they attack the wrong country also Tony Blair apologize to the church not to the Iraqi people for doing the war on Iraq and there were no nuclear weapons so when I said you are brain washed for not knowing the truth I did not mean to insult you but you did describe me schizophrenic*(mental deorder) this remind me of pink Floyd song keep your dirty hands off my land

  • @baitadonis1 They attacked the Taliban with the help of 52 other countries, directly or indirectly. These people are messed up and have been for a long time. Engand, Indonesia, Philipenes, France, Australia, Belgium and now the USA are threatened with these radicals

  • @bullfury19 who is Taliban ? aren't they Saudi helped by the American to fight the Russian

  • @baitadonis1 aye

  • @bullfury19 so you replace Germany with US

  • just amazing, truly great. i followed him for yrs and every time i listen to him its brand new. loves snowy 2.

  • This just shows that even without the assistance of Floyd he is a truly outstanding and special musician who is up there with the best!

  • He really does not like ol 'Dubya'... lol!

  • how is the line "everytime a smart bomb does its sums and gets it wrong, someone else's child dies and equities in defence rise" not consider, like the greatest line in music history.... how he came up with that I don't know..greatest lyricist of all-time in my opinion...... But for whatever reason, people prefer lyrics like "p-p-p-p-poker face"

  • @SydPring how about I kill because I hate and I'll use a bomb strapped around my waist. Their human right I violate!! He could've said that too. But he'd rather hate on his own!!

  • @SydPring a smart bomb 'gets it wrong' is the correct lyrics

  • Roger the Great!!

  • totally awsome, just as I remembered at the NEC. Why has he not released it on an album ?

  • Roger Waters = Genious

  • Thinking man's music, a political kick in the testicles for the powers that be, poetically enlightening masterpiece. If only the masses could understand, what a beautiful world we would be living in.....Thanks Roger

  • fuck yeah, snowy white.

  • ohhhhhh george oh george that texas education must have fucked you up when you were very small!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I always get very moody of this song. Even more than with Amused to Death of It's a Miracle, which a friend of mine describes as 'suicide songs'...

  • "Every time a smart bomb does its sums and gets it wrong

Someone else's child dies and equities in defence rise"....... that's brilliant. I saw this in the DSOTM concert. I think in that version fairweather did some raging guitar solo to close it out..... I think

  • what a tune ! i thought shine on was a belter but this wow

  • roger waters.... what can i say.......... a wonder in now a days.

  • Grande artista di talento e fuori da tutte le righe, spero continui a ptodurre ancora a lungo

  • Ha! Ha! Charade, you are!

  • only half a million views, deserves half a billion

  • met my girlfriend at this concert... great night

  • The world is watching Che....

  • It's a nice tune, but Waters is a dickhead for badmouthing Texas education... especially since Bush was from New England...

  • FUCK U watch ur mouth dickhead this guy his fucken toe better than u so give respect

  • Most amazing thing he's done since leaving Floyd, and yes I have everything he's ever made!!

  • Yes Christians you get too much rope and fuck it up. Thanks Roger, you really are God.

  • Let Roger play on Iran or Yemen...i bet it will be a blast....

  • nobody tells a story like roger waters plain and simple best storyteller out there

  • Roger's heartfelt plea for humanity seems to have fallen on deaf ears; we so easily let ourselves be led with emotional jingoistic grievances into dark and ugly reprisals that serve no one in the end.

  • agarraron muy extraño a waters en la imagen del video

    ja!..

y buenas las ideas de roger

  • Without a doubt this man was the driving force behind Pink Floyd, Gilmour might be a better musician, but lacks the creative spark of Waters, but then I have always viewed Floyd like the Doors the music was at its best when all members are a part of the creative process

  • They were all great who can forget nick on drums through the pompeii days and beyond. This is like a discussion between creationist and darwin people. It's simple if you know your floyd the band would have not done anything without Roger!

  • I've been a fan of Pink Floyd for a long time, but liked David Gilmour much better than Roger Waters. Not too long ago I started to explore Roger Waters' work though and it left me speechless. It turned out to be jaw-droppingly good. How could I have missed out on all that? For me, to truly listen to his words and music and analyze both in-depth was life-changing. This is music; not what dominates the charts these days.

  • Yes Monica.

Dave is a great guitar player and Rick was a wonderful keyboardist but it was Roger's ideas and lyrics that made Pink Floyd truly timeless.

....and if you are very very lucky, you might get a chance to see him play The Wall live - this year or next :)

  • Yes, I know, I'm waiting for the moment to get the tix. I did see both David Gilmour and Richard Wright live, but haven't seen Roger Waters so far. If he still sounds as good as he did on the In The Flesh DVD, an almost godly experience might be in store for all of the fans.

  • @jansenmann

The best Floyd was the Echoes/Dark Side period when each band member contributed. I love Roger and his music/lyrics and have seen him several times, but the best of Floyd truly was prior to him "controlling" the direction of the band

  • @slewsthe1 Very True!!

  • @jansenmann David Gilmour is more than just a 'great guitarist', he's a multi-instrumentalist who scores and constructs great music. You're obviously a Waters fanboy. Gilmour is a better bass player than Waters, also. Waters can write a good song, but he's musically inept, in comparison with DG. On the other hand, Gilmour is a decent songwriter who has an immensely talented musical brain. High Hopes, Coming Back to Life, Mudmen, Echoes, Shine On, Sorrow, Marooned, Terminal Frost, the Blue etc

  • @jansenmann . Yes Both.

I agreed , Roger is the best musician of all the group but Pink Floyd has benn the greatest group with they all 4 . The dark side of the moon, Wish you were here, animals, The wall . and all of them really wonderful

  • @jansenmann im going to gooooo 2 times :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • @jansenmann I was very very lucky and i saw Roger in St Louis. I saw HIM!!!! :) it was amazing! Best ~3 hours of my life

  • When I was 18 I started to listen Roger. I had "In The Flash" concert and I was listening it every day because I've never heard anything better. I think that Rager's creatures is very attractive and fascinating. Each time when I'm listening it I live little life in the Roger's world and it's not funny it's wonderful and deep. It's really very special! Thanks to Roger Waters!

  • Monica, you can spend more time with his lyrics, and read those in between the lines. I'm sure you will be in another world. One day people will do doctorate in his works. Dave is indeed a great guitarist, he plays with his heart, even at this age. But the works? Its him.

  • @monicauk30 That's been exactly the same case with me. Thanks for bringing this up to the attention :)

  • @monicauk30 the majority of "fans" think gilmour is the real floyd especially after roger went out on a limb with radio kaos but after the wall in berlin and than amused to death the truth came out.

  • @monicauk30 The sad thing is how easily David can be replaced. Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck come easily to mind...

  • @Hister333 Even Snowy White has shown that he can perfectly replace David Gilmour. He may not have the big name like Clapton or Beck, but definitely can do it.

  • @monicauk30

I love David Gilmour's stuff and have all of his albums and DVD, but

Roger was Pink Floyd. (All lyrics and most of the music from Dark side of the moon till The Final Cut.). Michael Jordan had Scottie Pippen, Don Quixote had Sancho and Roger Waters had David Gilmour.

  • @monicauk30

Right on amigo. I am a 28 year old waters fanatic....of course Floyd comes first. But you are right, once you immerse yourself in the works of Waters....you realize he was Pink....of course without Gilmour the greats wouldnt be, so we cant down play him....but Roger is Pink....

  • @monicauk30 you been a fan of pink floyd for a long time,me i am fan of pink floyd FOR LIFE,the music, the lyrics, the style of pink floyd = roger waters.

Roger waters is a genius of music....and lyrics...David Gilmour is the reason that roger is out of his band, that fucking jaw bastard, you dont know nothing about pink floyd,so stfu

  • u motherfucker, it's in rock in rio/lisboa!! u slimmy bastard, stealing great stuff from portugal, my own country!!

  • eu não sei qual é o sentido de fazer um Rock In Rio - Lisboa

fizessem um Rock In Lisboa logo

  • Sic radical,wtf?

  • dan ga je nadenken dat het ook mensen zijn door dit nummer mensen

  • Genius!

  • 'Don't let the migh of the christian right fuck it all up for you and the rest of the world!'

    Quality line!!!

  • Roger always says what we have in our minds, but haven't realized it up to the moment he starts to sing...

  • @ComfortablyNumb7411 VERY VERY VERY TRUE!!

  • Great song, love the line about the texas education. When I read the programme at his last tour, I found it funny to read about a concert he did in an American city and one fan just stood there giving him the finger constantly after he sang it!

  • @coopers123456 Yes, that happened at the Dallas show (of course).........LOL!

  • Saw the Melbourne concert.......

Great to see 3 generations of Pink Floyd fans.....Great Show!

  • Comment removed

  • Ok, please if you dont like, present some arguemnt and dont be joust rude.

  • When criticizing peoples spelling, perhaps you could spell correctly yourself.

  • Absolute genius, of course! Roger Waters is the closest thing to God on earth. Although I have 14 yrs of TX education myself, I love the line about George's education. We all cheered the loudest when he sang that line at the Dallas show!!

  • Oh I don't know, he was really rude and ego centric towards his old band mates in his final days with Pink Floyd. But I love his Final Cut and the other anti-war music he has done. He kinda picked up were John Lennon left off.
