They're making an announcement this week on Sunday Feb 26th, 2012, on Poke Smash TV in Japan about the Gen 5 third game. I'm sure we'll know pretty soon about this Pokemon Grey whether it'll be real or a totally different title.

@Rhysis66 gamefreak denied thet there will ver be a pokemon grey. i think theyre gonna make remakes on pokemon ruby and sapphire. i also think its gonna be for the 3ds, and one of the reasons gamefreak added the infrared systems is to avoid compatibility problems with older platforms, so your new sapphire and ruby could still do multiplayer with black and white. but for now theyre gonna sit back and enjoy their money.

@wtfhloser lightning yellow, meaning the pokemon yellow story line. Where pikachu follows you around and it's slightly different than red, blue and green. Except, they should have the add-on where you can go to one of the other regions (johto, hoenn, sinnoh, or unova - I would pick unova).

I have all of the games up to RSE on my phone (as roms, and this includes the one Mystery Dungeon game that was released for GBA, as well as all the extra games, such as pinball or Trading Card Game) and I have up to Black and White on my computer, as well as physical copies of all the main series games. But personally, the game fizzles out after GSC, and the actual Pokemon, not counting a few from GSC, suck after RBY. Honestly, if they remake RS I'm not gonna buy them. They just weren't (con't)
