hey hey! Have you tried - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got hot Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of fat with it.
I think tyra is doing a nice thing by sharing the tips she used, although I think some of the blame for people wanting to be thin goes on her. I mean she has a model show where she tells girls that are normal sized that they are "plus sized models" and the anorexic ones are "normal"
clothing shows best on petite tall girls, this is a fact. with "plus size" girls and just larger girls in general where the clothing is meant to show off the person's figure, it's a distraction. You're looking at the girl more than the clothing which is a big no no when it comes to selling any product. Also size 2-4 is easily healthy, she always sends girls who she believes have ED's home and offers treatment. being thin doesn't make you anorexic. you can be fat and anorexic/bulimic
uncondtional love is somthing you have for your kids, and not ur significant other..when ur married/relationship, its boths duties to look good for another and help eachother out (with loozin weight etc), but if u dont have the will to try and change, or if ur hubby doesnt wanna help u out , then u shouldnt be together.
The mirror talk: I am ready to make myself a better and healthier person. I deserve this. My loved ones who care about me deserved this. They want me to stick around and be the best, the most healthy person I can ever be. And this is my time to do this. I'm ready to get myself shape in shape. And then, I'm going to tell everybody to kiss my fit *commercial break*. :)
Whenever I'm at my dorm (in uni) I slim down so much but when I go back home I gorge! Because I can have food anywhere anytime - no need for me to make my own meals and no snacks.
I came across an article that said Tyra was going to end her show in spring, does anybody knows if it's true. You know tabloids sometimes lie. thank you.
Okay, at first I was all for this, and I just wanted to know what Tyra did to get her shape in shape. But I don't agree with writing everything you eat down, and "good carbs" and "bad carbs." I am in the process of reading a book called "Overcoming Overeating" and I don't have to write anything down, or count any carbs, or do any of that; I did have to look in the mirror and accept myself for who I am though, and I have already seen and an improvement in the way I eat and take care of myself.
IMHO, writing everything you eat down in a journal does really really help. When I was eating tons of junk food, I started keeping a food journal. I wrote down the item + quantity.
For the first week, I just faithfully wrote everything down. After the first week, I started to go zero-tolerance on junk food. If I did eat any junk food I would highlight it in my journal.
After a few days I noticed that I wouldn't eat the junk food anymore because I didn't want to have to record it in my journal. It really made me conscious of what I was eating. The food journal is only a temporary tool that can help you get started. I would also draw a blue dot on the calendar on the days when I didn't eat any junk food, which was surprisingly rewarding :-)
Sorry I wrote so much, but these things did help me.
I agree. I kept a food diary for the first two weeks and then I didn't need it anymore. From writing in the diary, I KNEW what I should or shouldn't be eating. Now, I am good at estimating how MUCH of these healthy things I should be eating.
I was going to comment on how some people find it easier to control their portions when they write it down and how "bad carbs" is a term for refined carbohydrates which essentially have very little to no nutrition. You want to get as many nutrients out of your food as possible if you want to be truly healthy.
but then I realized this comment was a year old haha

So yeah, the diary does work.
