At my home course there are some bunkers which are best played from with a putter. This is definitely possible especially on a very dry course where the ball will run through the rough pretty true

It's really easy to putt out of the trap if it doesn't have a steep lip and the trap is right up next to the green. I've done it lots of times. It's a great shot for anyone who isn't very strong at trap shots.

Well I used to work on VCRs (and some BetaMax ones too) and actually they had a better quality of video and sound. Well why didn't they become the standard? From what I hear Sony, the ones who made BetaMax, tried to keep all the technology to themselves where VHS was given to other companies to manufacture VCRs, which broght the price down.

Not trying to be a smarty pants, just what I know (which isn't much more).

i agree with jcgaston91, it doesnt matter what type of shot you use, there is no rule saying you have to use a sand wedge for bunker shots, hey if there was, it would be so difficult to get the ball out of a plugged lie, also, if the rule was a wedge for short shots then many of my chip-ins would not have happened, anyway, the results are usually better if you feel comfortable with an unorthodox approach rather than being uncomfortable with an orthodox approach.
