From a TV report made by a private romanian television we find out that our pilots from the gendarmerie are working 9 hours/day and they transport each day 70t of water from the sea to altitudes of over 2000m where are the affected areas in Evia.

On Monday 27 august 2007 the Ministery of Interior and Administrative Reform( MIRA) sent a MI 17 helicopter( crew: 9 persons) with modern equipement for the fight against wild fires.According to the press reales of MIRA this aid represents a proof of the good relations between our countryes. According to MIRA the helicopter will stay in Greece until the last fire will be extincted. I'm sorry for the victims. United we will win!
