Mr. Speaker, with mixed emotions we mark the 50th anniversary of the Turkish genocide of the Armenian people. In taking notice of the shocking events in 1915, we observe this anniversary with sorrow in recalling the massacres of Armenians and with pride in saluting those brave patriots who survived to fight on the side of freedom during World War I. - Congressional Record, pg. 8890
Report of Wangenheim, German ambassador in the Ottoman Empire on June 17, 1915 -
" Deportation of the Armenians from their homes in the vilayets of Eastern Anatolia, and their resettlement in other regions is implemented cruelly it becomes obvious that deportation of the Armenians arises not only from military necessity." Talaat said: "The Sublime Porte intends to make use of the world war for cleaning the whole country from local Christians".
Till today, Poland, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, France, Greece, Italy, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Vatican, the European Parliament, Lebanon, Cyprus, Uruguay, the Council of Europe, 39 states from the United States of America have all reaffirmed THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE. Their common message is to address:
1 - Injustices against Armenians by Turks.
2 - Crimes against humanity will not be tolerated.
The creation of Turkish Republic was not a result of a war fought against the imperial powers, but on the contrary it was a direct product of the Genocide inflicted on Armenian minorities.
Turkish Government sponsored & executed the Genocide. A significant part of the Turkish National Forces consisted either of murderers who directly participated in the Armenian Genocide or of thieves who had become rich by plundering Armenian possessions.
We do know that you're facing a false history which doesn't mention & condemn your ancestos hideous crimes as 'Armenian Genocide'!
We do know that your 'Morality' is balanced with 'Article 301 Turkish Penal Code' which disables you to speak & 'REPENT' your nation's hideous crimes such as 'Armenian Genocide' committed during 1915!
But, we're bound to 'Help' you to come to terms with it!
You guys are the laughing stock of the world, the lies and cheap tricks will not fool anyone, the idiot narrator is the same fool funded and paid by Turkeys global campaign, you call everyone a liar. Wake up and smell the roses the more you deny it the worst it looks. You guys sound pathetic.
Another important connection between the Armenian Genocide & Turkish economy was the formation of a new class of wealthy men in Anatolia who had enriched themselves thanks to the Genocide. Even Turks point to the fact that the economic motive played an important role in the Armenian Genocide.
Halide Edip (Turkish National Movement) said: "...there was a strong economic one ... this was to end the economic supremacy of the Armenians thereby clearing the markets for the Turks and the Germans."
The important link between the Genocide of the Armenians and the Republic of Turkey is that the second is a natural outcome of the first. The initial organizers & the people who had directly participated in the enactment of the genocide in the Marmara, Aegean, and Black Sea regions held important posts in the government in Istanbul for their participation in the Genocide.
Among those who had been enriched through the Armenian Genocide were some who served directly at the side of Kemal himself. Topal Osman, for example, was one who later advanced to the rank of commander of the guard battalion, (protecting the institution of the Grand National Assembly in Ankara, and the person of Mustafa Kemal-transl.), and Ali Cenani, who had been exiled to Malta, later became the Minister of Commerce in the new republic of Turkey.
Taner Akcam wrote in the Turkish newspaper Yeni Binyil (October 1, 2000): Continue
We are devoid of the moral foundations which enable us to condemn such crimes. One needs to have a sense of sorrow in order to be able to speak of the great human tragedies; but we do not possess such a sense of morality. Look at all the things written about this topic. In them you don't find a single sentence, a single word that recognises the tragedy."
Taner Akcam wrote in the Turkish newspaper Yeni Binyil (October 1, 2000):
"The manner in which the Armenian question is being discussed is in itself indicative as to what is the main problem of our country. We do not possess the culture affording open debate about mass murders.

Your 'Episodes' are more 'Creative' than 'Joul Verne's Imagination'.
Your mockery of everybody else made me laugh more than American TV serials "Happy Days"!
Get real, make an effort to join the humanity!
Armenians wouldn't 'Forget'!
But 'Forgiveness' is after REPENTANCE!
