When I heard 'Truck, Truck,' I thought 'Does this clip contain 'Saw, Saw,' and 'Plain, Plain'?' Sure enough, it does! Nice guitar/banjo music! Thanks for posting!
At the 28-second mark, what was that thing the camera was shooting a close-up shot of? Looks like the blade of the saw they were cutting the wood with.
Does anyone remember a (live action) segment on sesame street in which a wrecking ball hit a building in demolition? I haven't seen that in ages? Anyone remember? btw, interesting log video though. T
here's also a key reference of the logging segment of sesame street in the music video "Ready to Fall" by Rise Against. If you people don't understand on what i'm saying, watch the music and you'll see on what i'm talking about.
I always remembered that I would was confused about the words to the song. I though it was "truck truck livin' in a truck" then "saw saw livin' in a saw" lol! You can live in a truck but not in a saw, I knew I was wrong.
You have awesome Sesame Street clips. Is there anyway you can post the sketch that is before this truck piece? I caught the end of it--the kids with the popsicles--and I LOVED that one.
The group performing sounds very much like MASON PROFFIT, the group John Michael Talbot was in before he went Christian solo. Anybody have another hypothesis?
Yes that was a lot of trees cut down in those days but you gotta admit. The trucks in those days were downright cool, I miss the old trucks.

I bet this film was used to teach kids how wood is made and then how wooden things (like tables) are made.
