  • to en10, it's an inflatable pool. there's no such thing as a deep end which is why all this inflating pools have "no diving" disclaimers

  • I'd really like it if you, allgood, or BeatleMoe could upload the next segment '911 Gotta Get To School'. That's the one where a little girl calls 911 when her father loses consciousness from diabetes. She says "My daddy's asleep and he won't wake up."

  • thats a TEENAGER?? wth?

  • hahaha the Cop lady said is he still in the POO ahhahaha

  • this really should be renamed "Diving Mistake"

  • wooooaaah bad idea grabbing him like, every head injury is treated as a spinal injury, i know these people arent life gaurds but grabbing someone like that could have could have done anything up to full body paralization. and she said that she knew what to do, if she did she wouldve got him out of the pool by using someone to secure his head and two others on the hips and waist while you see to the torso and use arms as spinal boards, i wont say the full procedure but, that was all wrong

  • Do you have the video of the segment they feature at the end of this? If so, do you think you can upload it?

  • Maybe the film crew could bring a paramedic.

  • ok wat made them think they could dive in that lil bit of water

  • lol

"life can be taken from you in a snap"

and i've learned my own mortality many many times, i guess i just dont learn.

i mean its so fun doing things that are on edge of getting seriously urt or even death.

    i cant help it.

  • First of all, it says DO NOT FREAKIN DIVE! OR ELSE YOULL BREAK YOUR HEAD!!! ..... tee hee you sillies!

  • he didnt dive! he CANNON BALLED. THATS WHY ITS CALLED CANNONBALL KID

  • as a lifeguard, the girlfriends made a big mistake, even could've made him paralized... we are taught to do vice grip and canadian log roll when you see someone unconcsious...she just draged him, and moved his neck...you NEVER deep dive into an unknown dept pool, a shallow dive is possible for 3 feet, but only pro can do it

  • i totally agree

  • Great comment, I'm a fellow lifeguard as well and you're bang on. Unless you have a spine board on hand and proper training, the only reason to remove the vic from the water is if he goes unconscious or stops breathing. Then dry and CPR is needed.

  • in a panic though people may not know to do that. She also my not have had any training. At least she didin't take him out of the pool. And also remember that this IS a reenactment

  • People panic. She's not a lifegurad she a band member, cut the bitch some slack!

  • is it just me, or are all these episodes from the midwest or othere small white towns? And always 10- 15 min away from the nearest help? I can get to our hospital in 30 seconds...

  • A lot of them are like that, but are also quite few 'middle of nowhere' segments as well. A few examples:

    Episode 111-"Double Electrocution"

    Episode 126-Lost at sea

    Episode 209-"911 Alligator Alley"

    Episode 315-Everglades Rescue

    Episode 407-"Idaho Trooper Down"

    Episode 422-"911 Accidental Gunshot"

    Episode 602-"New Zealand Shark Attack"

    Episode 622-Jeep in pond

Also, the three states with the most Rescue 911 segments were California, Texas, and Florida.

  • I thought the same thing after watching four straight segments where they chopper the victim out.

Well...there's no point in showing tons of clips where they can get to a hospital within 3-5 minutes....the implied LESSONS may not SINK IN enough if it's like that.

They probably looked for sensational events to showcase, of course.

  • pools closed

  • LOLOS! lol

  • why didnt they go in the deep end where they're were diving boards????

  • cannonballing is safe, just not when u do it head first silly....

  • There should have been a "No Diving" sign..........

  • That would've helped a lot.

  • If you look closely at 0:20 - 0:25, you will see on the pool edge that there is a "DANGER NO DIVING SHALLOW WATER" sign.

  • that was cannonballing not diving.

  • fail

  • That girl is so sexy!!!!!!!!!!

  • the off- duty paramedic tom kippler passed away from a heart attack after fighting a trailer fire.

  • dang, why would he go head first in a pool like that? he should did a but cannonball :D

  • where do u get these vids from????///

  • I have them on tape, and I captured them to my computer.

  • Wow allgood I didn't know you could do that.

  • I thought the same thing; "get em outta the poo" lol

  • the voices dont have any emotion at all 0.0 anyways good thing he survived

  • What a lucky kid... he recovered.

  • oh, so he was temporarily paralyzed?

  • Now i done seen a lot of ppl puttin ignorant ass comments on the wall, so now let me say something... The kid may have made a dumb ass mistake w/o thinkin, but all he was tryna do was entertain. Yes the act was senseless , but damn everyone makes mistakes. Im so sick of ppl on here always tryna take shit when the worst could have happened. At least show some type of fuckin consideration ignorant ass Mother Fuckers.....

  • 1 Alright, ye see. is the person who injured himself, is he still in the poo?

  • Oh THAT kind of band...

  • wow

  • If you have to do a cannonball in shallow water, always go ass first because the worse that can happen is a cracked tail bone!

  • dat gurl is so sweet

  • I'm sorry, but that guy's an idiot. You don't jump into a shallow pool like that...especially not head first. He's lucky!

  • hey u know 1.That's my dad and 2.THE WATER WASN'T THAT CLEAR

  • I learned so much about what to do in an emergency . i'm only thirteen , but I feel like I have to know it . Like I'm going to need it ... very soon . Another reason why i watch this .

  • yeah same here ur THRITEEN ME TOO lets be friends.

  • I know a lot about what to do in an emergency . I know what to do during a bad seizure , a bad asthma attack , a heart attack , shock , drowning , fainting , and a lot more . I learned that all after one of my friends was in an accident and I was there . It was horrifying , so I learned it all . I'm only thirteen , but I just feel like I have to know it . It's just a feeling , like I'm going to need it ... really soon . Another reason why I watch this .

  • @ 3:15 "I'm a nurse and I know the things that happens usually when kids or people jump into a pool and hurt their neck. And so the first thing I did was say a prayer." Really, wouldn't the best thing to do is first leave right away. Not say a prayer!

  • hahaha

    your funny :P

  • When I see something like someone underwater that is stuck I feel weird like I can not breath either

  • WOW!!!!! that gotta hurt bab lol

  • that gotta hurt bad

  • No Shallow Water means dont jump due to the water is not deep enough. Its just common sense.

  • man just today at school i tripped down the stairs, cried, sprang my ankle, went to the doctors, and got crutches for it :( but this is so sad

  • what an idiot that's the equvalenty of jumping off you car onto a bunch of blades puncturing your spinal cord

  • Friend: "mom call 911, Scots hurt", mom: "leave me alone mommas watchin her stories"

  • He's damn lucky that swiming pool was'nt an inground one had it been the kid would've been dead.If not paralyzed from the neck down.

  • Diving into shallow water next time if you really wanna be stupid dive head first onto a fucking concrete pavement.

  • he is 18 and does not know that shallow diving is bad??? wtf

  • This show use to scare the shit outta me when this show use to come on tv and I was little lol.. I think its because I understood that what they were showin was real

  • i spend like 3 hours watching ur vids

  • 0:50 my jaw droped... o.o

  • I did thi into a puddle once i thoort it were deeper that it was an i broke my neck..i feel like stuid tard i like totally died too!

  • like totally died, huh?

  • Yea i died but i got brort bak!

  • it's called sarcasm you idiot. no one cares about your fake story

  • What's called sarcasm?

I know it's fake, I was imitating many real comments made on this series which read surprisingly similarly. Of course this didn't happen to me, I'm not fool enough to dive head first into a puddle. But thankyou for your obvious concern (sarcasm).

Also, I can spell, the dyslexia was for emphasis.

  • P.S I see where your sarcasm was now, but the use of the word "huh" in a text comment threw me a little to make me think you were insane. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

  • at 0:50 Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • did he snap his neck

  • i love the southern accent. my mind it was to get him out of the poo... lol

  • The ambulance pet allows the back up beeps before the sirens emit

  • do these people that have accents say poo instead of pool? cause thats what it sounds like

  • Right after i read your comment i heard her lol

  • views 74.822 denmark kl.20:30

  • There is a reason why you don't dive into a shallow pool. in most public pools it says no diving in a shallow area of a pool. just because it is your own pool does'nt mean that you should dive into it.

  • that was stupid to do!

  • What kind of an idiot dives into a SHALLOW pool. I remember when I had swimming lessons in school, we had to sit down and for half an hour "never dive into a shallow pool".

  • i watch so many 9911 rescue videos

  • ma too lol

  • 9911??

  • I remember watching this one as a kid

  • That is one lucky guy.

  • What's the next segment about?

  • A girl who calls 911 when her diabetic dad passes out.

  • I think I've seen that one.

  • Do you have that one? I know the girl in it! I'd love to see it!

  • do you have that one? i'd love to see it

  • No, it's not uploaded.

  • A friend of my mom's died when he dove into a shallow pool. He was a goofball and he dove in and grabbed his trunks cuz they were falling off and he hit the crown of his head. the vibrations from it shattered all the bones in his body. He died later.

  • All right, I shouldnt have said the video was dumb, but my dad does dive into our 4 foot pool all the time. He's experienced enough to do it. I do not, because I never learned to dive, and you shouldn't try it if you don't know how to shallow dive.

  • this is why pools these days come with gigantic "no diving in shallow end" stickers

  • God the 80's sucked.

  • i want belife guard

  • man im lucky i was stuiped enough and dived in the 3feet and didnt put my hands up and hit my head.....

  • D: thats bad

  • you don't dive in shallow water unless you know how to do a long shallow dive properly. kid deserves it. he should've known that.

  • There is such a thing as a "long shallow dive" now?

  • well there are other names like "Skim dive" because you skim the very top part of the water (this makes diving in shallow water possible without dying or getting paralyzed. lol) You basically just jump outward more and go in at a flatter angle instead of diving straight down.

  • idiotic thing to do! no one should feel sorry for him and getting all emotional about it

  • who is going to treat that limp wrist @ 1:27

  • lol. Well observed. He probably landed on that guy. And nobody cares about him. So sad.

  • I FEEL BAD

  • spoilrd brats

  • Nope, but even if I did, I was only in kindergarten, so I couldn't have been held accountable.

  • Must have been the 80's carry-over.

  • Has anyone sharted in an emergency out of stress?

  • I did that in a 1.50 meters deep water.. and i`ve hurt my nose and upper lip.. it was stupid.. since then I never jump headfirst again...

  • it's a good thing his girlfriend did that if my boyfriend did that all i would do is cry and i ever see him get taked away like that . i would be going with him i would never leave my boys side.!

  • Anyone who is swimming in a pool 4 foot deep should have the brains enough not to jump or dive into it....This was a waste of emergency personel.... I do not feels sorry for this guy....He should have known better...Now he will have plenty of time to think about his dumb actions....

  • u know the rules never dive in the shallow area which he did

  • I see that my previous comments were rated at a -7. I stated that my father dives into shallow water, and has never injured himself, because he is careful and experienced. But if people read my comments carefully, I still advised against the practice if the person doesn't know what he or she is doing, because it can be dangerous. I do not do it. In fact, I don't even know how to dive.

  • You still said "this video is dumb." That is someone's life and it was an accident that happened; have some respect -- people have accidents all the time.

  • Bonk

  • His girlfriend made a smart move not to move him, because of neck injuries, it could have been worst...

  • why does the description say he was paralyzed?

  • he was paralyzed temporarily

  • haha HOLY SHIT I lived in Greenville SC for about 13 years....although I was only like 5 years old when this happened so I doubt I know these kids.

  • pwnd. sorry to hear

  • i'm so sorry Jazygirl26

  • my cousin died of a motorcycle crash last year, its a terrible terrible feeling, the fear of losing someone is just as bad

  • my best guy friend hit his head when he dove into shallow water two years ago. thankfully, he only had a gash on his head that required stitches, but it scares me how i could have lost him.

  • its a he guys a hee

  • No, but I hear alot about it.

  • This ingury is very common to get parilyized.

  • have you ever had any kind of head trauma before? just curious

  • KatonNeko, Are you seriously that retarded?

  • great vid

  • I think I might listen to mom's advice now to never dive in a shallow pool. Mother knows best... Wow... I never knew I would ever use that quote...

  • This show needs to make a hardcore comeback.

  • No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I used to love this show, I wish the re-runs would come back on. I never saw this episode though, but I new from day one to never jump head first into shallow water especially if it is an above ground pool. Poor guy he must have been so scared unable to move down there. The girl who saved him was extremely smart.

  • i always tell my younger brothers not to jump in shallow pool waters of course one is 16 and doesnt care what i say and doesnt listen so he;ll do flips and stuff. i wish this show would come back on the air so i can show him this eposiode.

  • what happing to this show it not on no more if is plees say what time

  • Yes he is very lucky that he made a full recovery.

  • i dive into our pool and its pretty shallow...O_O

  • Then you are SO stupid, it's beyond words. You know what the saying is? One tends to get what one deserves.

  • This video is dumb. My dad dives into a 4 foot swimming pool all the time, and he never once hit his head. But you have to know what you're doing, and don't try it if you're an inexperienced diver.

  • that kid that runs in the room at 2:00 is so hot.

  • My ex girlfriend broke her neck in a car accident when she was a little kid, but she's fine today

  • If she broke her neck, she'd be dead.....

  • noo u don't know what your talking about? wow

  • I mean REALLY broke her neck. You know, as in SNAP!

  • No, you can survive breaking your neck.

  • the big hair

  • wooah.

  • my mom lived near there Spartanburg to be exact

  • what a dope commen sence tells you not try and dive in a shallow pool

  • he is lucky he didn't get paralyzed. But i am glad he made a full recovery.

  • This is probably the exact reason why we, as lifeguards, are told not to allow anyone to flip into the pool, and also why the pool needs to be at least 12 feet deep to have a diving board (there is a difference between a diving block and a diving board).

  • I swear, I don't know what was going on with the hair in the 90's.

  • that old lady calls the pool a poo

  • 1ol

  • lol

  • What is that segment about at the end of this video? They don't even show you enough of the preview so you can gather what's happening.
