I was VERY fortunate to hear my sister's Queen Albums in early 1970's - I'm still CRAZY about this AMAZING Rock Group! WAY Better Than those Beatles ...People need 2 know all of the members of Queen, also have Degrees from colleges!!!
I went to a Journey Concert in September 2011 and they stopped mid concert for Arnel to in his words "pay dues to the master" and do his own vocal improv. There will NEVER EVER be a singer anywhere close to Freddie
@jcaragianes Are you kidding??? You must be on Drugs; go ahead and explain...I really want to hear your logic! Brian May holding Queen back...that's like saying John Bonham held Led Zeppelin back...
@guitartist22 Dude I have seen this Video no less than 100 times cause I own it; thanks for pointing that out; steam from his head....that Boy's on FIRE !!!!
I was 10 when this took place and Queen were my absolute favourite band, still are. My dad called to get tickets but they only accepted credit cards and he didn't have one. When he called 10 minutes later with his friends card number, they were sold out! I remember watching it on TV with my dad instead and he promised that we'd go next time they played Wembley, of course they never did. God Bless you Freddie, your music makes me smile & cry, my heart soar and my breath catch in my throat.
pre mid 90's was when music was good. no doubt theres good musicians now but they're all single douchebag artists with no talent. taylor swift you're hot i like you, Black eyed peas decent, justin bieber someone kill him or castrate his vocal chords,
@chillaxer1993 : WOW. U just stated what I've ALWAYS fucking believed. I tell folks : the Golden Age of Modern Pop/ Rock music were from the late 60's,70's & the fantabulous 80's...the legacy went on till the mid 90's and after that it began to wane. If anyone seriously tells you the music today is even within comparable range of the artists of yesteryear, he/she/it must be seriously kidding u or most probably themselves - such tardy deluded arseholes! Queen is near God! The ONE & only forever!
My Thanksgiving is coming to a close, and I decided to gather the remaining alcohol in the house and watch this set. Needless to say that this is the best Thanksgiving ever.
Something I loved about queen is that they were all just professional musicians to the end. There was no public bickering and ego, they all just made a space for each talented member in their sound. Which makes it so much more sad that Freddie died. He was a friend not just a band member.
Maybe I'm way behind the times, but I learned recently in a Freddy Mercury interview I found on youtube that "Another One Bites the Dust" almost didn't even get released. It was Michael jackson that convinced Freddy Mercury to release the track as a single.
@ThundercatsHYO To be fair, he still has monitors. No one is good enough to maintain perfect pitch without some kind of feedback sound (as in opera houses where it's just the echo). It's just how the voice box is designed. Admittedly, you can get along on muscle memory for long spans, but sooner or later, you need feedback.
@alteregoash No I'm aware of the monitors. Don't get me wrong, I understand how the sound probably carries and dies out in that stadium, which is why they'd need the monitors. But, I was just trying to say how if you look at videos of MOST (not all) stars today, especially of a concert in a stadium, they almost always have earpieces in, feeding them the tune.
One of the best bands of all time if not the best band of all time. So much talent you could choke a horse. I only wish I was old enough to see them live.
Nothing will ever be like this. Rock n' Roll, AND AND AND AND Theatrics? Nothing like it, never will be. Screaming guitar, and an actor on stage, just simply amazing. Music will never be the same.
God I miss you Freddie Mercury!!!! God I will trade you Justin Beiber, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears if you will give us Freddie and Michael Jackson back!!!!
@Zimon00Productionz well the stadium probably already fit 100,000 plus for football games, but people probably took concert. then all the space on the field. at least 200,000 people, probably 250,000. maybe 300,000.
@pyemanchismo i like the intro. just likes the music, can you imagine how many discs will be sold because of this video? mine is on the way. thanks to the sender upper.
Whether queen is the best band ever is up to personal opinion. However, Freddie is VERIFIABLY *THE* most full-ranged Rock vocalist ever! Ranging from Low F to Soprano level High F. THUMBS UP if you agree.

No where in this video does he have an earpiece in, helping him stay on pitch, and he's still spot-on. It's a shame people can't do that these days.

'Greatest Bands of All Time' titles are subjective. Opinionated. It's genre vs. genre.
Queen was essentially in the heels of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Moody Blues, YES, et al.
I love David Lee Roth, but Freddie Mercury proved to be probably the most charistmatic and transcendant frontman in the history of rock and roll.
