  • Obama is just a black bush, he don't give a damn!! FUCK THEM ALL

  • i wish he diliverd on any campain promises realy,, its just buisness as usual. but how much can a presedent really do with out caching a bullet,,,

i dont think he can go agenst his 90 million daller campain contributers any wayz. we need term limets on congress,

  • This sums it up.

We WILL continue to vote, no matter how many hours it takes. THE AUDACITY to make every vote count ~ YES OBAMA! ~

  • If youre right, welcome to the Marxist States of America.

  • "...welcome to the Marxist States of America."

It seems you're truly not capable of anything more than this sort of retarded, meaningless rhetoric that doesn't even have a passing acquaintance with reality. Too bad.

  • Bob Barr 2008! Forget McBama.

  • Well, i am not from the States, but Ihope you are rzght,Prof.

  • lol...too funny

  • Landslide.

  • haha sweet. Love Omaba dustin' his shoulders off. lol

  • :-)

  • Was the outcome of the debate in favour of Obama? The Belgian TV was not clear on that.

I hope that he sent McCain straight to his retirement so he can take over the White House next year, a relieve for the rest of the world.

  • "Was the outcome of the debate in favour of Obama?"

According to all the post-debate polling I saw, Creationismisstupid, yes, it was.

  • So you don't like the bulging eyes technique? I thought it beat the phrase..."Pshaw..as if!"

  • In this case, TheEdge, I *love* the bulging eyes technique. :-)

  • Obama brushing those haters off...

  • lol

  • Ah Prof....you and your witty musical commentaries..... :)

I just watched the debate and I have to say...much better than the second one: Excellent questions were asked and good, somewhat detailed answers were provided. Good moderator

McCain tries to show poise and confidence...but he's clearly at the ropes.

  • Prof

Gawker[dot]com has a picture of McCain that is not to be believed. At first I thought it was a photoshop, but not so according to the comments. Apparently he got confused on which way to exit the stage at the end of the debate and this lizard imitation was the end result.

    Google

    Debates: Defeated by his temper

    Or

    gawker[dot]com/5064358/defeated-by-his-temper#c8365479

  • Absolutley!. Unless something apalling comes out about Obama, like he actually IS Osama Bin Laden. He wins by a landslide. It's over for the Republicans.

  • Hahahaha, the hyperbole made me laugh out loud.

  • I am so glad I am in college in Chicago in this historic time. That reminds me I need to mail my absentee ballot back to my home state today!

  • Prophetic song don't you think?

  • 'Prophetic' in the sense of a prediction, you mean? Sure, it's that. It's also a comment on what has already happened.

  • What will we all be saying in a year from now...

  • Looks like McCain just had another stroke.

  • Pro, how is Prop 8 doing, I don't know how to keep up with it,are the numbers shifting again?

  • I got an e-mail that the "No on Prop 8" people had a new commercial out -- it looked good. However, I've not had the chance to see if there's any new polling data. Probably best for you to have a look here, Clemburke1111:

    noonprop8 (dot) com (slash) home.

  • One of my favorite parts of the debate was when McCain was whining about Obama not reputiating the remarks made by Congressman Lewis.

McCain-"That to me was so hurtful..very unfair and totally inappropriate."

Obama-"I think the american people are less interested in our hurt feelings during the campaign than addressing the issues that matter to them so deeply. I don't mind being attack for the next three weeks. What the american people cant afford is 4 more years of failed economic policies."

  • OBAAAAAMA!!

    FUCK YEAH!!

  • Among the best moments in the debate. Senator Obama deftly dismissed Senator McCain's faux outrage (a Republican staple that has fallen flat as a pancake in this campaign), made himself look like the bigger man, and took it right back to *the issues*. I clapped.

  • im getting the feeling that obama will win popular votes but the reps in the electoral will go with mccain

  • Why are you getting that feeling, Nailo1?

  • several reasons i think, but theres been several cases of voter fraud(and thats just what was cuaght), the christian right wing has ran the country for 8 years and the most of them who are helping out want to continue with the "christian nation" they think mccain will have. its happened in the past maybe different circumstances but also shows something. it's enough to worry me, and it's easy to hack into the voting machines ive seen it done

  • That doesn't sound like an Electoral College problem, but a popular vote problem.

  • ahh ok

  • Nice.

  • Thanks. :-)

  • McCain was spanked. Maybe they can finally let Ayers take a nap.

I'm curious about what it is that makes McCain seem so angry. Is it hatred or just that he sees now that he won't ever make his dreams come true. I thought that when you sold your soul you are supposed to win. Did anyone else notice that McCain didn't embarrass himself by calling himself a Maverick last night? Thank Allah for small favors. Now if only his little friend would go back to Alaska. Maybe she can pose for playboy now.

  • "Maybe they can finally let Ayers take a nap."

They'd be fools to bring it up again. It has done nothing but blow up in their faces, so to speak.

  • That facial expression is hilarious, ProfMTH. I'll bet it wasn't much different when his advisers showed him the photos of all the possible VP candidates, then his eyes were laid upon that gun-toting, book-burning, Alaskan beauty queen...Voila, I think we have found her. lol.

  • Great work,Prof

  • Odd. I didn't get a dowry when I got married.

I want my three goats and pound of silver.

  • "I want my three goats and pound of silver."

    LOL.

  • I could NOT believe how the post debate pundits

were lauding McCain for his performance. Garbled

words, anger and cartoon facial expressions.

It REALLY is looking good though, eh? We (of

course) sent Harper back and have just spent 300

million to have the same government back again!

  • angryislander56,

You mean, "Harper spent our 300 million". It was after all entirely his idea.

  • yes I do mean Harper spent it.

Because apparently ordinary Canadians don't care

about the Arts but LOVE to spend money

consolidating the base for ole Snake Eyes:) He

has his pudgy finger on the pulse fer sure:)

  • Booo.....I never thought I'd say this...but it sucks to be Canadian right now, angryislander. My Canadian pride has been bumped down a few notches...this sucks!

  • "We (of course) sent Harper back...."

I was sorry to hear that, as I know you were.

  • Dear ProfMTH, could you please tell me the song that is playing in this video. Thank you.

  • "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late"

  • That was when Obama mentioned FOX news even reporting something McCain was disagreeing with! I remember :)

    The second picture was PERFECT.

  • Thanks Prof

Another great YT vid on tonight's performance

    watch?v=nNZ1FTKw_0s

  • Lovin it!!!

  • just by the way, i support gay marriage

i dont know why gay people would want to get married for anything other than tax reasons because it seems like a completely artificial classification and quite frankly -

if you love someone, if you really love someone, why have a ceremony to attest to it? to me that seems rather dishonest, the fact that you would codify it to me suggests fear by both parties that the other isnt honest either with themselves or with you.

  • no its not fear. its the desire to be able to let yourself go and not have to constantly shave and groom yourself cause your "on the prowl" so to speak.

Gay people want to get married so they can stop having sex like regular married people do.

Plus there's that all important gay divorce. no one should be denied going 10 rounds over the silverware.

  • You made me laugh with that comment, fat atheist.

  • look my friend

step one, no matter what a cursory analysis of history suggests is getting MAD.

yeah it sounds counter intuitive, but im not gonna show you how deep the rabbit hole goes, you will find out for yourself anyways.

if i could see you eye to eye and talk to you, maybe we wouldnt butt heads like this.

you dont have to believe me that the universe is quantum dualistic, you can reject the suggestions of quantum entanglement and chaos theory.

    but thoughts are deeds.

  • dont try and prove it to me.

hey bygones be bygones man, im not insulted anymore its all good, i probably took offense where non was intended even.

  • you have exchanged one false system of belief for another and you should be ashamed of yourselves for this kind of intellectual barbarism. have you no conscience?

  • dude go yell at the ppl who hate obama for being black.

you dont seem to give a shit about my articulate perspective on this matter nor do you seem to care about really ending the corrupt system that has you over a barrel.

you either get it or you dont sapper, if im wrong then fine im wrong ill admit it.

im not trying to prove anything to you damn.

dont you think i wish i were wrong about obama? i wish i were man i really do.

  • I haven't laughed THAT hard in a long long time.

    Epic.

    Perfect.

    Thank you!

    08'ama/Biden

  • you pretend to be interested in my perspective as a means to validating some bs posture.

i have explained why its important to post comments negating the perceived validity of the process.

you are naysaying regarding dissent and i am making an attempt at short-circuiting an organized process which is to be opposed by raising awareness as to its illegitimacy.

fuck everyone" etc is a generalization directed toward a class of belief, your comments are a direct insult to me personally.

  • His swag is just too much, man.

He finances his campaign easily because he sweats coins. It's true.

  • thats not black enough for me.

as usual i have made the mistake of taking your inquires as authentically representing a perspective when in reality they are little more than tactics to you.

check your fucking ego at the door for once in your life man.

  • you are a typical naysayer.

  • whinge.

see there you go with your typical insulting debate tactics.

you havent changed a bit sap.

again this medium is insufficient to debate such issues, you should understand that.

you oversimplify my position and posit that as something which you can attack - dude whatever, you dont seem interested in solutions and this is exemplified by your tendency to shoot the messenger and shout to any onlooker "preaching to the choir".

the universe is quantum dualistic: thoughts are deeds.

  • it is uniquely touching to me, to see people smart enough to reject metaphysics on principle never the less cowed into such empty systems of belief.

it is as though you have exchanged one fiction for another and to the detriment of yourselves, your progeny and verily, the entire species.

but do go on congratulating yourselves on electing another phony motherfucker how doesnt give a shit about you.

  • has anyone here bothered to do some real research into obama? does anyone remember the keating 5 scandal?

you are all getting fucked by a system that threw you overboard, and as the cartel of bankers that hedges these mens candidacies implodes the economy and the currency you will find yourself still wanting the change that obama promises you.

and what choice do you have?

    mccain?

haha. if you arent fed up with this obvious bullshit, if you cant see this shell game for what it is...

  • how black is obama?

we finally get a black guy in a position to be president and hes just another globalist scumbag.

go read Brzezinski's book the grand chess board and carefully listen to what obama has said his whole career.

there likely will be very little difference if any between the presidency of obama or mccain and if you understand that you will not give one iota of energy to this corrupt process.

you will oppose it in thought and action, you will seek local office.

  • this medium is not a fit place for such inquiries or the resolution thereto; your question is disingenuous.

i will give you three points.

    1) raising awareness about the inviolability of the existing system (an important step you scoff at, even preaching to the choir is a false attack, its edifying.)

    2) supplanting the infrastructure person by person from selectman to congress.

    3) staunchly opposing those who would, as you have done, suggest that no analysis or dissent is wanting.

  • I almost feel sorry for McCain. I always feel embarassed for him whenever I hear campaign updates....

  • I think you have mommy issues.

  • McCain is a blithering incompetent, incoherent, piece of reprehensible trash, and I'm so glad for the way Senator Obama reacted to his attacks during tonight's debate. I just hope that most Americans saw the same debate that I did, and that Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States :)

  • Yeah man! Obama gots this!

  • I totally agree!! WELL DONE OBAMA!!

he's gonna be such a great president!!!

    YES WE CAN!!

  • fuck the false left right paradigm and everyone who buys into this fucking spectacle.

  • "fuck the false left right paradigm and everyone who buys into this fucking spectacle."

Whenever your ilk comes up with a plan besides "get angry", be sure to let us know.

  • the Ron Paul website has a detailed plan. There is no significant difference between Obama and McCain on economics, foreign policy, or social systems.

They are for the same thing. No change, in anything meaningful. Republicans are only slightly more scary due to the fact that fundamental religions has its hooks deep in that party.

Has anyone noticed every single election most people vote for the lesser of 2 evils? Its a sham and insult to our intelligence.

  • Well maybe its time to stop your bitching and maybe YOU should do something about it. Since you seem to have all the answers. We're always going to be voting for the lesser of two evils, because anybody with any intelligence knows being the President of the United States is just a show pony job. This country needs a good kick in its ass. Hopefully it will be in a pile of ruins by 2050. Thats my all American dream.

  • Well i do sort of hope the economy tanks sooner than that. People will only care about change when they cant afford ipod's anymore.

  • Though a Republican win could help promote my post rapture pet care insurance business(The bible clearly teaches that only those that have accepted Jesus as their savior will enter heaven, and we all know that pets do not have the cognitive ability to do this, so what will happen to your beloved pets? They would be stuck inside your empty house, starving to death with no one to feed them, let them out to potty, or clean their litter box. This is where I come in.)

  • Ron Paul is about 100 years late. He's an idea man, sure. And many of the ideas are good. But I'm not an idealist. There is no way he could get anything remarkable off the ground - the House and Senate would block most of it. They have constituents to answer to, after all.

Yeah, the party system's fucked. We all know that already and are accordingly jaded. But the answer isn't inserting a president who would be a lame duck from day 1.

  • Yes, makes total sense to just perpetuate a system you describe as 'fucked'. Makes perfect sense. Keep up the good ideas.

  • I'm just saying you've gotta be smart about how to approach changing the system. People would be much more likely to listen to actively get behind someone promoting open elections, for instance, than someone who's simply ranting and raving about how nothing works and pointing fingers. The former doesn't alienate anybody.

  • *listen to AND

  • "...a Republican win could help promote my post rapture pet care insurance business."

    LOL.

  • 50 dollars will get your pet taken care of throughout the tribulation period. If you have a long lived pet, like a sea turtle, they may still be here to greet you when Jesus comes back to rule.

  • you realize obama is a shill for the global elite right?

he is as bad as, if no worse than mccain.

they are both CFR, shouldn't that really be enough at this point to dissuade you from having faith in their Words? is it not enough to suggest that, both having voted for the bailout bill, we are in the same boat either way?

no matter who wins, We lose. isn't that patently obvious? ProfMTH you are smart enough to figure this shit out wtf man?

  • Please catch up to the twenty-first century.

  • what does that even mean dude?

  • In means that you should slow down on trying to dicourage people from voting for Obama using this CFR talk. Most People can't decide what side to have for dinner. It serves as a distraction while you offer no immedaite solutions otherwise.

  • CFR talk?

    do you study the CFR?

do you have an inkling as to what this organization and others like it have planned for America and for the world?

dude attacking the corrupt institutions which have created this problem IS THE ANSWER.

RESEARCH THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS, READ THEIR OWN DOCUMENTS, LISTEN TO THEIR OWN SPEAKERS: DECIDE FOR YOURSELF IF THEY ARE BENIGN OR MALIGNANT.

    PHYSICIAN HEAL THYSELF!

  • define corrupt institution, by name only if you like

  • council of the americas

    council on foreign relations

project for the new american century

    the trilateral commission

    to name but a FEW

now wave your hand and persuade people that none of this shit is happening dude, label me a conspiracy theorist and write a line through my name.

hell ill even quote Allister Crowley: do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

just say what you are gonna say and then be done with me, the cacophony of the agora is all i know.

  • project for the new american century

  • project for the new american century, bingo!

  • in McCain's head during reaction in video:

"OH MY GOD. IT'S UP! CALL CINDY!"

  • This video proves McCain is some kind of prezbot, just as I suspected!
