My hedgehog died yesterday Rimsky he was 3 years old the fuse went in his heater didn't know to check that it was working only takes a day and they get too cold sadly that's all it takes :( Rimsky loved living in a ugg boot so he never came out for his food I feel so bad hes gone I feel guilty I didn't double check I loved him so much so to all hedgie lovers keep them warm winter is bad for them hedgies are like babys dont take them for granted they need special care they are the best pets most

@AvengedJax When they're calm, their spikes are flat - they only stick out when the hedgehog is agitated/scared/angry/etc. - and it's wild hedgehogs that have more often have diseases, which is generally the case for all animals.

Also, hedgehogs seem to be considered exotic in America.
