  • Thanks to this helpful and informative video I have successfully deboned my first ever turkey (apart from one small mistake when I removed the wrong bone in the wing - turkey's a bit more floppy than it should be!) Thank you very much.

  • THIS DUDE IS KOOL! i came here because Chef John said he de-boned his turkey this year and I wanted to know how. Chef Marne Bass with the ponytail is a good chef! subscribed!

  • I remove the leg bone too and use plyers to pull the tendons and my fingernail to slide the meat off it. I also then use 3 wooden skewers to resew it back together and stuff it and sew the leg ends with thread. When my turkey is done it looks like a regular turkey minus the bones.. I also use one skewer to hold the wing tips up until they are able to stay up on their own about 1 hour..

  • nice vid, i wish it was better quality, its a bit grainy

  • 10:11 instead of butter use good veg oil. butter will burn and turn brown, but oil wont, and oil is easier to even coat the turkey, or chicken, and its cheaper. It does a better job than butter, for this application!

  • @steveboomhour going to use clarified butter

  • I've watched several videos since I am attempting a Turducken this year for the Holidays. This is by far the best filmed and most informative video I have seen thus far. Thank you for posting.
