  • Thanks very much. Great to have the lyrics. I would never dare sing it myself - far too much respect of Dick Gaughan's version and the men themselves. I really love this tune and have a pint of two of the blood in my veins which tingles when I hear the sound of the pipes or a fine tune :o) The genes!
