yeah i sampled my own sounds on there for this beat.. and I only played aroun on the X for a minute or two at guitar center but didnt really have time to check out all the features on it so I couldnt say, but the fantom G is pretty nasty when i checked it out.. savin up for that shit haha

I use the av-40's combined with the bx8's but I wouldnt buy the av40's alone cus they're kinda muffly and too bassy even with the bass boost off but togather they sound awesome

no software, just the fantom and the Tascam dp02 8-track, when im done with a song I record it to the 8-track i just make sure everything is where i want it and upload it to my computer through usb. i never got into Acid, fruity loops Reason or any other programs like that. im already use to what im use to, i aint tryin to relearn a new program.. just want to make quality music as fast as possible
