@class770 I'm sure you get a kick out of looking down your long nose at guys like this "class 770". Instead of buying the latest and greatest vertical tillage tool for more than they may be able to afford, they are trying to innovate with what they have and make something that works to try to move forward with technology. I guaran-god-damn-tee you that most inventors never begin with their end product.
I also guaran-damn-tee you the production salford RTS did not look like the first one on the drawing board. I will admit that I would probably add a little more weight or do something to horizontally stir the ground a little more, but hey, fall vertical tillage is about getting the stalks to decompose faster than they would otherwise and he has accomplished his goal as they are sized better and mixed in the soil better than otherwise.
Also, I am waiting with baited breath to hear your explaination behind your name... If I didn't know any better I would say that someone doesn't pay attention to detail; or doesn't know their combines very well...
i no-tilled right into this w/ a jd 750. worked very well. i liked the fact that
@ harvest the field looked cleaner and had less stalks in the header. don't know if it improved yield or not because all of our beans were well above average. we hit all of our cornstalks this fall and they look great.(just like the expensive factory ones!) absolutely no problems withe outfit. i could make another pass with it in the spring if i chose too, but @ this point i see no need.
this is the biggest crap tillage system i have ever seen
