nope. you just haven't seen any vids where comments were allowed for a time and then not allowed, on those hundreds of thumbs up & downs are given to single comments. Try looking up "Will it Blend" videos here on Youtube, I recall seeing 1,000+ thumbs up on one of the comments for one of those. Alot to look through, however.
