Here's the thing. Most of the time people saving shift they are already stuck in mid combo unless by some chance you hit saving on the first hit, highly unlikely imo.

It's usually obvious when you're about to eat a huge combo though, like if Kyo manages to get a deep hard hit on you in the corner.

Well if you think about it, the opponent did not do damage worthy of wasting two power stocks and two skill stocks, and what's worse, he's just vulnerable to long combos now. So as you can see the idea of long combos isn't at all farfetched.

The LDM does not do Counter Hit, and this does not worry me at all. Nice, though.
