Woah!, like your screename says, you're a dumbass!, you clowned yourself on that one, go pick up a wrench, remove the valve covers, turn the motor to TDC and replace the valve stem seals and then talk to me lol, you would get lost even with the wrench in your hand lolol, DUMASSS! LOLOL.
that exhaust system is the same one i want for my 91 camaro RS. it's all stock right now, with a 3.0 engine. do you think it's a wise idea to install that or not? help pls. thanks.
my seals don't leak..but that's because i installed new ones and they aren't the rubber ones either :) However your right about that, almost all corporate SBC's. have that kinda problem. Not bad exhaust note. I'm thinking of switching mine over to something else like borla... Don't ever buy a "Random Tech" exhaust system
thats nice. except for the smoke. gotta get that out of the picture. i have the same problem with my 1978 Camaro. and its because of the Carb, got a really bad miss in it.
No, bad means they don't work very well or at all. After the Cold valve seals get splashed with oil they soak it up and seal again, replacement would be suggested but not required.....yet. 3rd gen cars are 15-25 years old, and Almost all older Small block Chevys suffer from OEM valve seal's being worn, unless they've been replaced with new, better ones.
Problem I have with replacements to stock is they rust right off again. I live in MN and I've owned my 89 droptop bird since 44K miles, it's in bad shape now due to several winters... I had no extra for a garage or a beater, though now I have a second car, and needed too, my brakes froze together during the fall!
hey man nice ride! it sounds really good as well. im thinking about picking up a GTA with the 350 and installing my borla off a 4th gen camaro.. do you if itll fit? they look the same including the tips.
ps. what r ur modifications r the taillights smoked?
are you running a cat on it?

That is such a whitetrash redneck sportscar. And I LOVE it! Sweet ride man! I hope to get a 3rd gen f-body sometime too. :-)

Sounds good but that white smoke on start-up indicates worn valve stem seals.

Hey man in this video, was this with the 305 setup? Reason I'm asking is because kinda has the ls1 sound. Didn't know if you did an lsx swap
Br0dBaNd 3 years ago
Ya, this is with the 305.
this is the borla with the the adjustable plate for the 93-02 f-body's.
FormulaZR1 3 years ago
Wait so the 93 -02 borla will bolt onto older Trans ams like say an 86 5.0?

I've never seen a third gen that didn't smoke a little on startup. My GTA does it too.

Bad valve seals...?
thedudeman321 4 years ago
Not bad, just worn. My 86 Z/28 smokes for a couple seconds at start up then it stops after it warms up, just like his.
sa1911a1 4 years ago
Worn=Bad. 84 Camaro Berlinetta and 85 Trans Am both did it. Haha.

My 1988 formula would smoke at start up only when it wasn't driven for more than a few hours.
