Ok so of the bat the 408 uses less powder smaller round and therefore less recoil, but in my mind that still doesn't account for this much of a difference in stability. how does the bipod account for this, what about stock design? does the barrel sit more in line to where the stock is shouldered like on a m-16?? (it's obviously not in line but is it closer then on the .50)

@reimers84 The suppressor helps a lot with recoil. Thats a big part of it.

The M200 hangs in the bi pod but the other rifle sits on top of it making it less stable.
