I just gave mine away, cause to was such a pain to start it. Too much compression, even with the decompresser.
Yamaha really Effed this bike up by not putting an electric start on it.

No, from a very hot one but it can be harder like this ; about metal's dilation.
Cold starting just need a quiet procedure. ^^
I had this bike 10 years. I never have a start failure :)
