this is not a porn question, but i am talking about films in general. I havent filmed anything in over 4 years back in middle school, but I want to make an amateur horror film, but i remember how sucky audio is, do people just do voice over, or do you need like a special boom mic... I am low on cash so does anyone have tips for removing the disgusting static in the background?

I've done a few voice overs and I just use a Samsom C01U cheap nowadays with a pop-filter and use Adobe Audition to add more of a voice-over smooth effect, as for the static in Audition (in any newer audio program) you can remove background noise
