Darn fractions are throwing me for a loop. I want to make 1/4th of a cake recipe but I need 1/4th of 1/3 cup of oil; This is what I get for not doing fractions for seven years... Surely it jests that I need 3/4 cup of oil. My brain hurts. Unless it means 3/4 of 1/3 cup of water then I'm totally boned because I need to do more math to figure out what that should look like and... @Frimbertrips lol, If you want one third of something it means you have to divide by 3, not 1/3. The amount you were looking for is 1/7 of a cup, about 34 milliliters.
