  • I was ready to B-slap that white witch at this point. :3

  • ugh for fucks sakes shut up about god already just because you have a religion doesnt mean you have to tax the rest of us by preaching it. God its a damn movie/boost/ost no need to over anylize it. god, maybe i should preach god about POKEMON and show you how painful it is.

  • @Kagura090 Its not preaching, it's stating. C.S. wrote this around the religion of God and Jesus, and God is not a movie. People look to him because he is there, not so we can scream at other people to believe in it. Read the top message.

  • @Kagura090 I respect your beliefs, but you obviously don't respect mine. That's the small problem between there.

  • I really dislike all those religious discussions on Narnia videos. Not everyone here is Christian, you know OO"

Let's just enjoy Narnia and it's incredible soundtrack instead ;D

  • @Crucio5 i agree with you all the way :)

  • I like how this movie is filled with tons of allusions on the bible.

  • its the saddest part of Movie :´(

  • It's incredible that there are still people believing in God nowadays, i just can't understand

  • @MajorHoward7 Actually I think it's more incredible that people don't.

  • @MajorHoward7

AGREED.....But alot of people will proberbly be hurt by this but its an opinion at the end of the day, Having said that though i dosent stop something like this (narnia) being truenow does it ?

  • This was really hard to watch.. I remember reading it in the book and being sad but the movie really kicks that up a notch.. I hate the bit where she screams "Shave him!" Something about that makes me feel horrible inside..

  • One of the most powerful Songs i've ever heard before. Its so sad in the beginning and at the end. The middle of these song is my favorit part. Shivers run down my spine whenever i hear it. But the scene in the movie was so mean and sad, i cried so much when i saw it for the first time of my live. Poor Aslan...

Great Move and great soundtrack^^ and i hope this is right. Greetings from germany :D

  • From 6:30 to 8:07 is an absolutely magic moment! Thank you very much for your magically magnificient music, mr. Gregson-Williams! =)

  • @DagaleBluTv nah, 0:00 to 8:07 is absolutely magic ;)

  • @TheCatInTheClouds Obviously! ;)

  • CS Lewis is a genius!!! Having Aslan represent Jesus was just magnificent!!

  • The best Book of world....

  • @DynamicScherzo it's up to you, I just challenged myself to live for the Truth. let me say "A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell." (CS Lewis) I'm NOT saying you're crazy. refusing to admit God's existence IS a prison. God isnt a cosmic meanie here to ruin our fun. He came "that we would have life & have it to the full" through Jesus who died for our wrongs. Grace&peace.

  • @MackenziVD Well put, my friend.

  • "He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities" "they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 'Don't be alarmed,' he said. 'You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples'. May I LIVE to make known the FACT that He died for the sins of the world, to bring us to Him for eternity. HE IS ALIVE, PRAISE HIM! ='D

  • @MackenziVD No thanks. I choose freedom.

  • I'm athiest and I don't want to talk about god, but I do think lewis did well when taking inspiration from christianity. this part of the book and movie is the most sinister and I think they did a great job in the music to make it feel dramatic and sinister. I thought the movie version was brutal in comparison to the book though.

  • @chezkimo Agreed.

  • I worship Aslan all my life since I saw this movie. He really resembles Jesus.

  • i always had a feeling that aslan was considered higher than you know......the normal king- as a god, and it dawned on me that he is potrayed as being our GOD. i epecially saw the examples in the third movie and i love that!!!! thankx so much for the post!! i havent listened in a while

  • aslan:'(

  • heaven is the place where god is, so that will be the best place 2 be!

  • @MrFireballie

The best place to be, would be a place with no god, so noone can say that their god is the most powerful, noone can brag that god loves them most and noone will kill another for religious reasons. For murder in the name of religion occurs too often. Gods have been needles in the eye of humankind.

  • @slesta Actually i am a christian and thats why i hate violence, if someone has to be dead my God will take care off that, i am only on the earth to love him!

  • @MrFireballie

In that case I find your cause most noble. It just bother me greatly to see people use religion, though based on peace and balance, as an excuse for war against people of another.

  • @slesta thx

  • @slesta lol like the crusades? XD

  • @Piixiie3 Az. És szeretjük.

  • @Linda2032 de mennyire..és igen..szerintem is Narnia olyan, mint maga a Meny..:)

  • This movie just has something magic in it.

I wish when I'll die I would go to Narnia...

  • @Linda2032 haha Christian reference?

To go to Narnia you don't need to stop living silly. In fact, you just need to-live!

  • @blingblingshineshine Well,however it is, I would LOVE to live there ^_^

And yes, this movie has a Christian reference!

  • @blingblingshineshine thats not what Linda2032 means... i guess but im not gonna say nothing else

  • @Linda2032 srry your gonna go to heaven. id think heavan is better than narnia, but evryone has their own oppinion on what heaven looks like and if you think it looks like narnia then ok :)

  • @Mdude123456789

I think heaven looks just like Narnia! Nothing's more beautiful...

  • @Linda2032 thumbs up :)

  • @Mdude123456789 Thank you! :D

  • @Linda2032 :)

  • @Linda2032 :)

    NARNIA ROCKS!!!

  • @Mdude123456789 Yeah, that's why we simply love it!

  • @Linda2032 YAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

  • I just love this track. Really, it really calms me down. And reminds me to Stonehenge. xD

  • Thanks to jewish Harry Gergson Wiliams <3 :D LoveYaMusic

  • see how powerful music is? This shows why it is so important to really pay close attention to the words when we select music to listen to...what could a person with ill intentions be willing to do? The brain can not tell if something is real or dreamed unless you consciously tell it differently...just something to think about. :o)

  • 3 people are gonna die soon

  • 0-1.20: heart rending

  • 0:00 - 8:07 is the best part! ;D

  • 7:16 makes me want to break down and cry in the arms of someone warm and comforting for some reason.

  • she had the lion shave bald and brought to her feet.

  • Awesome music =]

  • The score adds the pixie dust to it!

  • Best part 0:00 - 8:07 ;)

  • TAKE YOU TO THE PLACE OF YOUR DREAMS...

  • i dont know why, but seeing scenes of jesus being sacrificed never really hit the tears until i saw THIS scene. and i always got frustrated because i thought; "WHY DIDN'T SHE USE HER ARROWS AND KILL THE WHITE BIT-...witch...?!"

  • This is amazing inspiration if you're drawing/writing/whatever, in fact this whole soundtrack is

  • 1:05 - 1:20 that sequence is part of the Kingdom of HEaven Soundtrack as well.

  • Love Narnia. In my head and heart and dreams Narnia is and will be forever real. How many books are there to make a movie about it? WE HAVE TO WRITE SOME HUNDRED ONES! QUICKLY!!!! Even if the stars of the movie are adult!

  • @Rimfaxe96 there are about 7

  • @FishfilmsInc Oh! Perfect, so we need 7 Narnia movies! ;D

  • I only like these parts 0:04 to 1:17 and 5:50 to the end of this song

and the best part is 6:35 to 6:40 that makes this song really happy

  • Sad :-(

  • AWSOME!!!!!!

  • oHh!i really criEd too abd asLan was sacrificing for the life of edmund uhhH!!!:((

  • @emocryin2000 yeah but, he DID know what he was doing!!!

  • @lucy229722 yes phew

  • Listening to this music is like watching Aslan's death. It is really sad. This is my favourite movie, and I cried in this part, for who doesn't love Aslan, I just want to hug him!

  • does anyone know where to find the music for when the battle cuts to aslan before he is ressurected?

  • with the choir?

  • @FishfilmsInc actually its before the mice

  • so sad when aslan dies :( i cried then such good film for young people like myself

  • Its just like what Jesus did for everyone!

  • @Joeyoeyannanna Very true! Its what CS Lewis had in mind all the time.

  • @Joeyoeyannanna Tht was sorta the point...lol!!! :)

  • buetifull music, if you have seen the film and you lissen to this you can see the whole film before your eyes.

  • 5:12 gave me shivers because in the movie that's the part when you see Aslan die! T_T

  • such a sad scene:'(

  • I love how the choir echoes the strings in the begining. :)

  • i like the music after 5:50

  • From C.S Lewis' Epic MasterPiece

  • I cry every time I watch this scene. Especially the first time I saw this movie.

  • Very fatalistic.

  • One of the greatest Children's book series of all time.

  • 7:16 to end, OMG soo good.

  • I love this song the most (:

  • I only like 0:07 to 1:33 and 5:53 to the end of the song and my favorite part is 6:34 when the violins come in and makes it all happy

  • hehehe, I am the opposite, I only like it when its creepy, more scary chanting please

  • amazing, positively spectacular!

  • the beginning of this is amazing. i can't even describe how it makes me feel.

  • Great song. You can pretty much hear the grief, even if you've never heard of Narnia.

  • how do you sing that low? lol

  • i guess u have to have a very low voice to do that

  • you should hear Summon the Worms and Dune Messiah from Brian Tyler he´s awesome

  • I love it , my favorite songs is from Harry Gregson Williams, I'm a crazy FAN of these songs! He is the Best!

  • Harry Gregson Williams IS A GENIUS I TELL U GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • narniaaaaaaaaaaa

  • This is brilliant music. The whole score for the film is very emotionel and VERY beautiful. Good job, Harry Gregson Williams!

  • Amen to that.

  • Wow,

I've been listening to this soundtrack for what feels like forever. This song fits one of the scenes in my novel perfectly!!

It is a dark, quiet night and among a silent forest, families lie sleeping until they are suddenly disturbed and taken away, snatched right out of their homes, and this song truly has that suspensful, creepy feeling to it!!

God bless Harry Gregson Williams for imagining these tracks. Truly brilliant.

  • Makes me tear up every time...

  • I like that part from 7.15 to 7.45

  • Oh yes, me too 6:35 to the end, especially at 7:35. I'm moved to tears ♥

  • 6:35 me fav part

  • i cried first time i saw this part

  • Instead of picking parts of the song, I'd like to say I love every note of this song from beginning to end. Actually, I love every song from the Chronicles of Narnia, 1st and 2nd.

  • I have to agree completely with this. It is pure genius... Every note brings out such emotion...

  • I like 0:07 to 1:25 and 5:54 to 8:06

  • I like the part when all the violins come in at 6:35 to 6:46 it makes it more happy and it reminds me of one special time!!

  • yeeeaaahh

  • 6:46-8:07 <33

  • why do u like that part so much??

  • It's so sad and pretty, and it's a nice change from all the scariness of the first part

  • I love this track so much. It's so beautiful. I've tried to play it on the piano, its not perfect, but i'm getting there.

  • i love narnia its the best filmever i like number1 2 thats all i worch somer elliott

  • i loved the way at 1:20 where it starts to become more loud and upbeat, He made the transition so perfectly blended that it was just amazing!

  • Exactly... there's where's the metal wind instruments come in and the percussion starts getting stronger.

  • bad news narnia fans of all ages and geners and species...harry gregson williams will not be makeing the soundtrack for the voyage of the dawn trader...and bad news...disney dropped the next film because of budget issues *yea right*...and the movie may go to fox *GAY* ... great song tho i love this song and the movie also XD

  • This is like, the most inspiring soundtrack ever. The movie was amazing, but the soundtrack is pure genius.

  • i completely agree =]

  • The beginning to 1:20 ...beautful, and yet haunting. Perfect for this scene. :'-(

  • thanks for putting the album on, it's one of my favorites!

  • Out of all the tracks you have, this and Lucy Meets Mr. Tumnus are my favorite.

  • wow totally agreed they are my two favorites too.

    x

  • That gives me the creeps.

    Brilliant ... :D

    5*

  • I love this. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will always be the best book for me, and comes from the heart.

  • A beautiful collection of music pieces that I just adore...

  • Who makes the music? Harry Gregson-Williams or something? Cause this guy is like wtf pawnage.

  • Yup. Mr. Genius Harry Gregson-Williams. =D

  • There is a different version in the film. I mean, I think they cut parts out

  • Yes.

  • @lilmisssicecream If they didn't cut out parts the entire movie would have back ground music. And some of the parts don't fit right into the movie so i'm guessing that they cut and paste sort of.

  • The whole soundtrack is awsome, ans the new one is just as great if not better! Narnia is just FAB!

  • Both of the soundtracks are unbelievably memorable and riveting!

  • @Saalvatorio i just wish there was less electronics used for the battle part of the score

  • Just so spiritual

  • Eerily in a way.

  • And Creepy in a way.

  • Mmkay Dokay...

  • This song is awesome it perfectly describes how sad and strong was aslan´s death on the stone table

  • Hey claymate, what was that all about? I love you? Who's Kory?

  • never mind hes just a boy that is like right angelic and this song brongs out his angelic side

  • ok then...

  • This song is awesome! Anyone knows what instrument(s) is/are playing the melody?

  • The melody at the beginning of the song would be played by a cello. :) Absolutely Beautiful.

  • yeah i agree. i play the cello so that would be really cool. they are beautiful.

  • I'm pretty sure there's a string orchestra (cello, violin, viola) plus percussion and definitely a trumpet/french horn and some vocals. I love how this song is so eerie and sad and yet somehow powerful at the same time. It manages to bring out the power and love in Aslan's sacrifice as well as describing the incredible evil of the White Witch at the same time. I have no idea how the composer did it - he's a genius. The raw power in parts of this song scares me to death (5:38).

  • I Love Narnia its all my life

I'm getting the Prince Caspian Soundtrack soon.

  • YES!

  • Scary, sad, and emotional.... this song is beautiful.

  • beautiful song.

  • Omg the first and end I can see Kory telling me how he feels him saying "Iloveyou"

  • SORRY

  • u need to get out more!!!!lol

  • I like the other part when it is sad slow music it makes me have a great felling inside

  • This is possibly my favorite song on the whole soundtrack, besides a Narnia Lullaby.

Out of all the music, this one showed the most emotion in it, and sent shivers down my spine as I watched the movie.

    Thanks for posting it ^^

  • it 's so magical this song , it scarry 's my

  • are all these on the soundtrack? and also, whats the sound track called? is it just called 'narnia soundtrack' or are there different ones? pwb xx
