Wow. I usually cringe at social dances with African roots (lindy hop, latin dances) done on TV dance competitions because they get so ballroomy, but this was a REALLY cute routine! Simple enough to play to his strengths and kept to the character of the dance and the song. Some awkwardness, but he is adorable in his determination. And she had great tips for him and pretty nice swivels!

That was such a cute lindy hop! I was so impressed with how much Ty improved over the course of the season. He deserved that nine.

Boy, I sure wish they would let Jewel give "Dancing with the Stars" another try, since she had to pull out before the season even began. I so wanted to see Jewel do the cha-cha-cha!
