I think if you keep looking for something long enough, you'll fool yourself into saying some "evidence" supports it. Science is not done by starting with assumptions like "dark matter"...its done by a process analogous to a funnel, start with a completely open mind, go where the data leads.
With my last comment said, I offer the following definition... none of us know everything, but maybe it's a necessary piece of the puzzle:
"Universal vacuum produced by the compression of mass in the closed system." The force of the gravity being proportional to the density of the mass. Mass=vacuum=gravity. Gravity itself is not directly produced by waves, graviton particles, etc., but is rather a universal condition within which the former function.

If matter that enters the event horizon of a black hole cannot escape then how does the matter accelerate to escape at the black holes magnetic poles? Everyone knows that electrons are influenced by magnetic fields. Evidence was noted when electrons within a wire are forced to move to create an electrical current. I hypothesize that the magnetic field is the reason for trapping light in a black hole not gravity. This explains why the energy is able to escape at each of the BH's magnetic poles.
It's dark because it isn't really there.
