Dr. Duncan completed my surgery on 10/14/2011. I have experienced very little pain,just soreness and swelling in the chest area. I followed the post-operative procedures and these helped. Still hoarse otherwise back to normal a week later.

thank you Dr for putting up that video but you did not mention about hypothyroidism and external branch of superior laryngeal nerve damage rates.... scar is less of a problem than a chronic hypocalcemia

I'm Really REALLY SCARED! Ok, my voice sounds like I inhaled a bunch of balloons. I cough a lot. Usually some very dark green stuff.

I was watching Doctor Oz. The thing were u pour water and feel if u have a tumor under ur adams apple. I felt one..

This surgery is performed under general anesthesia. The cost differs depending on the surgeon. Some insurances pay for the procedure.

How much does it cost for this procedure? This case is a hyperplastic nodule with mainly cystic component, i guess.

RFA or Lase ablation is so much superior to this operation
