lol..does your daddy know you talk shit over the internet? whats his name so i can call him and tell him his son isnt helping his business by calling ppl names on youtube. you should be a informant for ppl who dont know as much as you about drag racing instead of making them feel stupid in front of everyone who sees these threads to try and make yourself feel like youre something special when your just a little kid whos daddy build racecars.
actually you are just a young punk kid who THINKS he knows something, keep your mouth shut and you won't embarass yourself like you have. now go play your x box and be a lazy ass like most of the punk teens nowadays
What is the advantage I wonder to purging the way you do..."bottle throttle"? Is there any advantage to doing it this way rather than just purging it through a purge solenoid and letting it go into the atmosphere?
actually a solenoid is connected to the lines and it evacuates the air from the lines out into the air, not in the motor, they only do little sprays to the motor to make sure everything is in order usually if it goes through the motor with no throttle a nitrous explosion would happen.
yeah now or these days sanctioning tracks says its for safety and easy consumage on parts, like wear and tear on the engines and trannys, frankly im pretty sad that NHRA nitro went 1000 foot but i understand why, heres the latest i heard from the ADRL though they are going quarter mile next year
Nitrous on. Purge (alot). Bottle throttle. Purge a little more.
Stage.
GO !
If you browse around for outlaw, pro mod etc etc. you will see the whole deal and how it works. I installed both purge and manual nitrous buttons on my panel in my car.
He's doing a so called "bottle throttle", he throttles to 3000rpm's and hits the nitrous to get both fuel and nitrous to the nozzles for straight hit.
Very Very nice vid!! Could you please tell me what are those switches you hit after you burnout that make your rpm jump. I see all the pro-mod guys doing this...
these cars have the weirdest shifters on them... its like a stick with a bunch of buttons on them lol.

Why'd he shut off at half track? Seemed like he was on a good pass from here.....
Flexfuel306 3 years ago
he only got time for 8th mile
347pony 3 years ago
People actually race 1/8 mile on purpose? What a waste of time.
Flexfuel306 3 years ago
i agree with you, but 8th is not as hard on the car

Is It used instead of Purging?
twiztedmetal1 3 years ago
Nope, they purge as well.
It's basically like this:
Nitrous off during burnout.
Backs up.
Nitrous on. Purge (alot). Bottle throttle. Purge a little more.
Stage.
GO !
If you browse around for outlaw, pro mod etc etc. you will see the whole deal and how it works. I installed both purge and manual nitrous buttons on my panel in my car.
