herb dean is like a jinx or something, something always happens when he is reffing. not cause of him, just strange stuff. like eye pokes, or illegal blows, stuff like that. it's just funny, when something like that happens in a fight i always look at the ref and 65% of the time it's him. then i say "fucking herb dean". it just makes me laugh that he is always reffing fights like that. could also be that there are so few refs, so he is usually the ref when something goes down.
He wanted better pay, so went to the ufc, even though the ufc didnt have him under they;re paycheck the state commisioner did. so it wasnt the ufc's place to pay him, so they didnt, and he went to some other mma organizations and strike force for better pay. i think lol

I'm not saying that brock cant beat fedor, because in mma anything can happen, but i think fedor deserves the #1 spot at the moment because lesnar has only had 5 fights and mir has lost his fair share of fights and has been dominated at times

the UFC isn't anything, they're a marketing goldmine and nothing more. Pride FC had the best lineup of fighters ever, including Fedor. Pride FC fighters that came to UFC made the UFC look like a joke. Anderson Silva for example.

Yeah there is some truth to that but for every 1 pride fighter that is good you have 3 more that stuggle like cro cop,silva even though he still buts on good fights but he always has struggled in the ufc mark coleman left the ufc the first time because he couldn't kept up anymore but went to pride and had his way with most of them.I think that either was better than the other because they were very even like rampage and chuck or rampage and forrest,nogueira and randy,nogueira and mir there even.

well spoken... i have alot of respect for john mcarthy he is an honest to god impartial and very proffesional ref. he keeps his opinions to himself and just focuses on the job at hand. i hope to see him in the ufc again but as he said, if it dosnt happen it dosnt happen. he is in my opinion a more recognized fixture of ufc than dana white (considering hes been there since the start) so if he returns to ufc or not he still made his mark on the organization. keep up the good work big john

herb dean is like a jinx or something, something always happens when he is reffing. not cause of him, just strange stuff. like eye pokes, or illegal blows, stuff like that. it's just funny, when something like that happens in a fight i always look at the ref and 65% of the time it's him. then i say "fucking herb dean". it just makes me laugh that he is always reffing fights like that. could also be that there are so few refs, so he is usually the ref when something goes down.

He wanted better pay, so went to the ufc, even though the ufc didnt have him under they;re paycheck the state commisioner did. so it wasnt the ufc's place to pay him, so they didnt, and he went to some other mma organizations and strike force for better pay. i think lol
