Fantastic video bro's, i am turkish (pontian) and i believe all your stories, because it is true. i really want that some people here dont always argue about the origin of this kind of dancing, just enjoy it, but know that its an ancient greek-pontian dance that is been played in Turkey and in Greece.

when the Greeks colonized Pontos, there were,of course, semi barbarian tribes in Pontos but they all accepted the superiority of the Greek spirit, that's why the area was hellenized and is still Hellenic...
Laz belong to the family of Georgians(Caucasians) and were semi barbarians too.But they adopted our rich culture and today they dance our own dances, they even sing our songs and play our lyra(kemence, in Persian).Lazs have nothing to do with Turks and as Turks have told me,they don't consider them real Turks.
