I have to say, I agree with you on Tennant. Well, not completely. I see why people like him, but not why he's everyone's favorite. Matt Smith's much better.

Finally! Someone who understands my view on Tennant! Don't get me wrong, Tennant is an amazing actor, but his Doctor just seems to... Goofy. Hyper. Yes, the Doctor is supposed to be eccentric, but not ADHD eccentric. I personally think that Matt Smith is doing a wonderful job, and I wish he had gotten a higher rank, though I do understand that we should give him more time before we fully judge him.

The writers brought a new concept with David Tennant's Doctor-when he regenerates, he dies.He's never going to be that part of himself again.He's still the Doctor,but a different Doctor with different brain waves.He was afraid of disapearing.It's a different concept-they are a different species.If you were going to die and knew that part of you would be gone forever, wouldn't you be scared? Not only that,but he himself is a different Doctor, so he will react to his own regeneration differently.
