I'd say there's actually very little that's elegant about any of those watches. They speak of wealth and a desire to demonstrate command of it but elegant it isn't. It's garish, gawdy, showy and tasteless in that nouveau riche way that's all to common among those with buckets of money and absolutely no taste.
To be totally honest, the Chopard isn't that bad. Now as to the Cariter, well they are among my top 5 favorite Jewelers/Watchmakers, but I honestly have no idea what they were thinking. Maybe Puff Daddy commissioned that timepiece. The Piaget is a disaster. What really bothered me about this video was how this guy Andrew Block refers to these tiempieces as the "neon sign for your wrist" and then calls them "elegant". What is elegant about neon signs? Tourneau should fire this clown!
