I Live In Nassau bay And That Sailboat Whos Been Washed Up Shore Was there MONTHS After Lol. I Live On Leeward Ln. and Then I Remember Going There Like A Couple Of Months After The Hurricane. And Seeing Piles And Piles of Debree :(
yep I grew up in Clear Lake, thank god I live in Wichita Falls now, don't have to worry about that crap every year and don't miss it one bit, went through all of the mess with the Rita evacuations and rode out Allison in 2000 and Elisha a long time ago. Rita was what did it for me don't know about you guys but the way they handled that whole thing was bullshit from the word GO. Sorry for what happened to ya'll down there though, that sucks I feel for ya.
Yeah, great vid, I have mixed concerns about why you felt compelled to drive around documenting all the damage over such a wide area where we all live. How long did you spend in line waiting for $4 a gallon gas that you wasted gawking at other peoples messes and misery? I'm sure your intentions were good, but really, dude, you could have been helping your nieghbors by actually clearing some of the debris, especially for the elderly neighbors in your own area. Lots more constructive things to do.
I had tons of limbs!! My power went out way before the real stom was there it was just sprinkling the wind was blowing.I know where this is I think... Almost everywhere in friendswood survied pretty well excepct for a few that I(ME I SAW)if i didn't see it which I know i didn't see a lot i live on appleblossom the hiton was where a lady ran over her husband!!!!!!!!!!!!The limbs wer'ntpicked up for a while @my hous
Thanks for the video of the area! I recognized most of the areas you drove in, not to mention the HEB ... been in there countless times. I have an uncle that lives in Friendswood near 2351 and 518. He is still without power, but fortunately had little to no damage. I survived back to back direct hits from Charlie, Frances & Jeanne in FL, so I know what it's like. Just hang in there.
I used to live in Sunmeadow on Suncourt (you drove by it toward the end) from '79 to 2002. That neighborhood always floods. Thank God I live in Wyoming now...
Same here and we didnt have power till a month or little more

Yeah you definately got it easy. We didn't, we live out in Bacliff on the water and took WAY more damage than your broken trees and fallen fences.
