God's Holy Law is Supported by Scientific Evidence

Amen, the Torah is the word of God, & we praise HaShem for the wisdom of it as Psalms 119 (longest chapter) is a praise of love of Torah. But as for the comment of the Torah pointing forward to the Catholic Testament, I think Christians have to rethink about Matthew 15:1-20.

@davitodude none taken. It may seem like common sense to us now, but back when Semmelweis was trying to tell everyone, the medical field at the time scoffed at him. This was years before Pasteur and the germ theory. This was only within the last 200 years.

Now when we look at these laws in the bible, they are over 3,500 years old.

The bible is divinely inspired and God made his Holy Law for the benefit of mankind.

The bible continues to be proven correct in science again and again. :)

Btw; too many people who called themselves Christians hasn't seemed to have read the bible by scorning science as I know of at least one scripture that mentions science: Daniel 1:4

Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

But I'm sure there must be more. :)

The word translated as 'unclean' here is not translated as 'unclean' other places, rather it is translated as 'common' meaning not holy. For some reason the translators translated it as 'unclean' in this one place and every other place as 'common'. There is a difference between 'unclean' and 'common'. Food can be BOTH common and unclean>>

Clean food, like beef, can become 'common', meaning unholy, when it is sacrificed to idols. Beef, which is clean food can be EITHER 'common' or sanctified (Holy to God like when we pray over it). Beef is not unclean but can be a clean food that becomes 'common'.

Swine, which is unclean, can never become 'clean'. It has already been declared by God as an unclean animal not to be used 'as food'.

Peter had not eaten unclean animals or things sacrificed to idols or that had died or itself etc. (anything that had caused clean animals to become common according to God's law).

So Acts 10 is about people, not food. Read the whole thing and you'll see it is true.

Matthew 15 = BABES IN CHRIST *not* adults! on the "milk" of salvation. *FOOD ISSUES CANNOT STEAL YOUR SALVATION*.

i agree with everything except for the part from 2:56 - 3:18. yes pork IS unhealthy as well as shellfish but also any meat can result in fatal food poisoning even chicken can result in fatal food poisoning but it was considered a "clean" animal in those days. then again some shellfish actually carry a poison in them when they die. interesting video btw.

@Licmycat I am afraid you are in error here. There is no such scripture that does away with any of God's dietary laws. Following the law is not for salvation, however it was designed for our benefit, and the physical/scientific reasons for not consuming unclean meats is quite obvious. When we are "GOD'S adopted children" that means we obey his commands. All of them. :)

@Lic (2) Romans 14:14. This is a tough passage, and I will admit Paul’s words here are difficult, but once you get the context of the chapter it becomes clear. This chapter is instructing those “stronger in the faith” how to deal with someone who was new to believing in Christ and following God’s will. There were some Roman Gentiles who were coming out of pagan religions where they ate things sacrificed to idols. Those “stronger in the faith” knew that idols are nothing, just “things”.(cont’d)

@Licmycat (4) Romans 14:14 is not nullifying the dietary laws of Lev. 11/Deut. 14. Another passage you quoted was Matthew 15:11. Once again, the context of the scriptures is extremely important. The context here is “eating with unwashed hands.” The scribes and Pharisees of Jesus’ time put such a “fence” around God’s Law that they were in effect breaking the commandments. Matthew 15 is not about the dietary laws, it’s Jesus showing how the Pharisees were being hypocrites. (cont’d)

@Licmycat (5) Jesus was showing that “clean food” doesn’t become “ritually unclean” when you eat it without washing your hands like a Pharisee They even had to use a certain amount of water, only let the water reach the third joint of the finger, really stupid Oral traditions. The obvious issue in Mt. 15:11 is “do kosher foods become unclean if you eat them with unwashed hands?” and the answer is a resounding NO. I appreciate all your comments and thank you for watching. NO. Pork and shellfish are unhealthy because they are scavengers and bottom feeders. They are designed to clean up after everybody else, take out the trash (toxins) and the reason you get food poisoning from their flesh is because they eat dead rotting decaying filthy things all day. (cont'd)

In Goa, India, they have what are called "pig toilets"...it's just an outhouse with a chute that leads to a bunch of pigs. They drink the urine and eat the feces. They can eat poisonous snakes, dead corpses, their own fallen young, you name it. Swine is not *food*.

It's embarassing to the medical community, so they try not to mention Semmelweis...and give all the credit of the "germ theory" to Pasteur! Who didn't even come till a couple decades later.
