Yeah but there's a new kind of homeless people who lost there jobs and then there homes. people who used to spend over $50 on dinner at a nice steak house ( applebee's tgif chille's exctra ) now line up at a soup kitchen. I don't know if that's what I would call ironey ? but it makes a person think "should I really being spending my money like it's going to expire". "because my next check could be my last" !
Good for you. you live with in your means that makes two of us. I'LL go to 3 different groceries stores to save a couple of bucks of my bill so if im lucky i'll spend about $80 for myself for the month that's right month not week alot of people can't do that. my secret things a person can get more than one meal out of like noodles cheap and not bad to eat !
You've forgotten predatory lending with interest rates that shoot up to 35% if a single payment is missed. And that' happening a lot now that people are losing their jobs. And that's happening a lot because executives refuse to give up their nine figure pensions while their workers have to work two or three jobs just to feed their children. If executives didn't look at corporations as their personal cash cows, corporation wouldn't carry such a crappy meaning in this country.
GOD BLESS LOAVES AND FISHES.I really hope someone with a piece of land offers it up.Can you imagine having to stay in a temporary shelter.I have lots of money and live in abeautiful home but I would rather a tent or cardboard box over a 3:00 p.m. check in shelter.When government helps someone they make it Soooooo HELLISH that you just wish they would leave you alone :0(.......

all of these factors contribute. lose a child, lose a home, lose a loved one, lose your self-esteem. these folks need a hand up, not a hand out.
