  • magic school bus is amazing! all the characters are fun except 4 janet. janet is such a mean pesty little brat. >.<

  • Horace Cope reminds me a little of Schemer from Shinning Time Station.

  • When the aliens on that second star's planets find out Janet bought their sun, they're going to be pissed.

  • @VideoSuperMaster And if Dorothy Ann's star ever get a planet with life they'll probably erect statues in her honor. LOL., and then they'll be attacked by the angry Janet aliens. hahah.

  • i love magic school bus

  • @Rimethurse wait how old is the sun and it's 20 billion yrs actually

  • Just first off... HELLO?! $7 to own a star?! Are you kidding me, who could EVER pass that up?

Secondly, I love how they travel at a huge multiple of the speed of light, and therefore go hugely back in time, and oh so many lightyears away, they still get the SSN without a hint of static.

  • Wait a minute if the baby star is 2 million years old and the grown up is 5 billion how come the red super giant is 20 million years old?

  • @florawinxhani Stars with larger mass burn through their matter much faster than ones with lower. Supergiants can last MUCH shorter than a star like ours, which can generally last 10 billion or so.

  • @Rimethurse thx i was trying to remember science

  • @florawinxhani when referring to stars by age, they are first labeled with the stage they happen to be in before their age in years. since these numbers can get huge, the title of the star (protostar, main sequence star, red giant, etc.) is used instead so that the number is smaller to mention. most red supergiants are actually several billions of years old, but as just a red supergiant, its only been in that stage for 20 million years or so.

  • There should be a drinking game for this show: take a shot every time the gang breaks the laws of physics.

  • Given that Dorothy Ann's star is probably at least hundreds of light years away from Earth, they don't need to do anything to recreate it; she'll still see the star as a red giant from home. It would take hundreds of years for the images of the star exploding and dying to reach Earth.

  • @Mrpastry909 I was just going to say that.

  • 12:48

    Wanna bet? ;)

    my fav. episode!!

  • How come everytime they go into space the bus tranformes into a different type of space ship.

  • Damnit Janet...

  • I actually recall seeing this episode when the show was still on PBS. But only barely though, as I had just turned 5 when the show aired its last episode.

  • whoever loves ths show vote up on this comment

  • "As my Aunt Dromeda always says..." I knew there was a reason that I love this show...

  • how do you get signel in space

  • Is Ms Frizzle friends with taz?

  • 13:23 They probably meant to say twenty billion years old.

  • Comment removed

  • 15:29 EPIC GALATIC EXPLOSION!

  • First off: DABNEY COLEMAN!

Second: What other class can travel light years from Earth, visit three stars AND be back in...17 minutes vs. 80 years or so? I love this show.

  • Let's invent warp drive!!

  • 2:00 - 2:10 I think, somehow, Ms. Frizzle is a mystical being born from love of science. Any other episode, she'll seemingly teleport in from behind an obstacle. This is the first time otherwise. She's awesome!

  • 10:27 just buy the SUN!!!

  • 4:35 That might be the firs tie the bus talked.

  • Why buy a star? If it's hundreds of lightyears away you'd never see it.

  • thanks for this, my kids love it!

  • This episode and the next are my most fave episodes EVER!
