ECW was better. ROH probably has consistantly better matches but ECW had better wrestlers at least in terms of character and there wrestlers also had a lot of ability. They just didnt do as many crazy moves but that is partially because a lot of those moves didnt exist at that point. The writing and promos in ecw were also far superior. ECW also had the perfect balance of story and wrestling, where ROH has sub par writing. Dont get me wrong tho ROH is the best promotion today.

Um, wow. I don't know whether to absolutely hate that Nigel promo, or love it due to how outrageously hokey and cheesy it is. It wins points for the Karate Kid style shadow boxing on the beach, but loses points for the homoerotic Rocky 3 style beach jog. Guess the things he says are cool though.

I don't get it...every year there's something that ROH deos that I don't understand at all...in 2005 Jay Lethal lost the Pure Title to Samoa Joe after just one title defense...in 2006 ROH unified the World and Pure Title, without a reason...in 2007 Homicide lost the ROH World Title after not even a month...this year ROH looked to believe so much in Erick Stevens, and now Stevens lost the FIP Title after just a month back to Strong, that already held that title for a year..why? I don't get it....

On the Steven/Strong 'bout, it's definitely more of a hype thing than anything else. I do agree with you that the constant shift in champions have been making it hard to follow. What they need is a solid lengthy runs, which I expect should be happening soon. I mean, hey! McGuiness has had the belt for two months or so, right? So it's not all bad. I'm sure things will stabilize soon enough.

1) TNA is a multi-million dollar company. They may suck, and they may barely (if at all) turn a profit, but they still have the financial backing of Panda Energy.

2) The footage on this videowire is from Full Impact Pro, not ROH. ROH's audio has been a lot better than that for some time now.

3) If you're going to whine and cry about audio not being perfect, or the picture not being in HD, then indy wrestling is not for you. They're running on a thousands of dollars, not millions. Deal with it

Great buildup to the McGuinness/Danielson match I wish I would be able to be in NYC to see that. That package of Nigel training showed the reason why I love ROH they put the complete focus on the world title and not some side bs with someones wife or someone having to choose a side ROH makes the world title seem very important.

Dont get me wrong, but, for me its good, but not good enough to live up to ROH standards. Its a little more family oriented, lots of kids in the crowd, Prazak is a heel commentator (which hes terrible at), I dont know, its just not my groove.
