Professor Yates was very impressive. She corrected every attemp on the part of TVO to distort the message.
Steve: non-union members make a little less. Truth 15% is not a little less.
Steve: union membership is in decline. Truth: union membership is increasing
Steve: unions are inflexible. Truth: union have been flexible while still trying to protect workers form harm.
Kudos to Professor Yates for being fearless and professional. This is the power of tenure in Academia.

Unions are more important now than ever before, all those who work in low wage jobs and want more pay know exactly what I mean. I worked in a so called good job for over 14 1/2 years and was taken advantage of in many ways. Worked 6 days a week, on weekends etc.. ate my lunch as I worked etc. left that job for a better one that payed 2 1/2 times more.
