Rumor has it he had a terrible flu, that's why he wasn't at the top of this game... I feel bad for him... he made some uncharacteristic mistakes... I am glad Stephane got the silver, even though I know those two can do so much more...
iT wasn't a terrible flu he had, but three successive problems; first an unknown illness that stopped him from going to the Trophée Bompard, then a stomach bug, then a blister. Poor Brian! I agree with you concerning his mistakes. His triple axels were awful, yet usualy they're perfect. I just hope that at the worlds both Stéphane and Brian will skate brilliantly for us! (and Tomas too of course!)
Tomas did an excellent job with his short program, his free skate was odd... really... not worthy of gold, however in comparison to all the other skaters, I guess his skate was the cleanest. It's ironic, but these things happen in sport... :) I also hope Stephane wins the worlds, again :)
Well Brian had been really ill for ages (see the other comment I posted), but I also think he was extremely stressed. I know that for a long time the idea of being beaten has been in his mind. Maybe that's why even his axels weren't clean. I don't know about you, but I had the impression that Brian was releaved to have lost, maybe it allows him to go to the Worlds with alot less pressure.
I think you´re right and I hope so much that he gets back to his best again. But I´m so proud of him that he managed to battle despite of having been weak physically and went for all the big elements! I feel so blessed that I could be there and support him and you know what? When everyone left the ice and we screamed "Brian!", he came back to the ice to thank...I will never forget that and the applause he got for it. Such a wonderful person....
I know! He's such a lovely person! I've seen him skate too, and he's always so nice with his fans! And he's such a fighter! He's got enough courage and respect for what he does to give it all, not to wriggle out of doing the difficult elements. What was really nice was the sportsmanship between the three skaters, the way they genuinly respect each other. I am so pround to be from the same continent as these three, and the same country as Babou!
For once, there are 3 good lookin guys on the podium.

LOLLLL
Japanese kanji is on Thomas's shirt!!!!!
I think there is a mistake.
勇名人ラon his Tshirt but maybe it's 有名人だ that means
"I am famouse" LOLLL

What? I think his print is really good.
I don't know 勇名 but every Kanji has meaning.
勇 is brave.
名 is name.
and トラ is Tiger.
It really suits his program.
You mean just same pronunciation 勇名 and 有名.
But his print is not 有名.
Are you really Japanese????
