i dont like peach that much shes a priss i like daisy because shes not afraid to get a little dirty once in a while and rosalina should be included in ALL the further and up coming mario games IF YOU WANT ROSALINA AND DAISY TO HAVE THERE OWN GAMES AND BE IN ALL THE GAMES POST THIS IN ALL MARIO VIDEOS AND PEACH VIDEOS AND DAISY AND ROSALINA VIDEOS maybe someone will see it and get OUR idea start a REVALUTION

I'm a male in my mid 20's and this storybook really got to me, it made me cry so hard. It reminded me of mortality and how the people you love will not be around forever. Such a expertly crafted piece of storytelling, one that gives a sense of hope and didn't resort to a cheap 'she sees her parents again' ending. I can't applaud Nintendo enough for this beautiful segment in a fantastic game. People who ignore the storybook or think of it as 'boring' really are missing out on something great.

Rosalina is easily one of the most interesting female characters created for video games recently. Hell, in terms of the female character made by Nintendo she's probably THE most interesting.

I mean how many times do we have a central female character in a video game who's a mother AND capable?

Her backstory is so heartwarming and hearwrenching at the same time.

Plus, she lives in a space station comet and raises star children. That's just awesome.

@TheJboy88 I really can't think of any characters who match Rosalina. We have characters that are capable, but their status as a mother is just a line in the character bio that no one cares about. And then we have characters such as the parents in Earthbound who are a part of the story but can't actually contribute directly. Rosalina may have been a side character, but she appeared frequently and had enough magical ability to run a freaking blockade.

@kkanimegirl It has nothing to do with being in space or the atmosphere. If time goes by at different rates in different places, then it relates to how close to the speed of light you're traveling. As Rosalina is on a comet, she's traveling quickly but nowhere near fast enough for her to age a dozen times slower than on earth. (And she may not be traveling quickly at all if the comet is at or near its aphelion.)

@MoonAndSun001 Well, let's back up a bit: I don't use a camera to record these. I use a video capture device. It allows me to record a video. Think of it like a VCR, except it records as video files instead of tapes. It records the sound and the picture at the same time.

So any sound you hear in a video like this is what was playing when it was being recorded.

This is such a great game and the idea of an epic character with such a sad but realistic life story makes you think how much Rosalina has done and that Peach can barely run her kingdom it seems like Mario does but one thing is Rosalina is at least epic and i would never want to battle her as a boss in dark form like how Fawful did with Bowser and Shadow Queen did with weak little Peach i can't wait for Mario & Luigi RPG 4!!: The Battle of the Galaxies and the Return of the Shroobs

Still love this story. As many gameplay improvements that Nintendo made to SMG2, they really, REALLY should have had more Rosalina involvement. She only shows up at the end, and you never get to revisit the Comet Observatory. If/When they make SMG3, there needs to be a lot more Rosalina.

Bring back the Observatory, at LEAST. Rosalina ftw.
