@escamoter22 I can almost guarantee its just a jam session that worked out really well,'' They probably messed around with it before..Lot of times jams like this one just happen when they first walk into rehearsal and plug in just warming up..They just lock in and groove on something basic, At the same time there is a ton of feel that stands above it conquers a lot o songs that took lots of time to make up..Buckethead dosent take a long time to write songs though..That is for guys like Slosh etc

actually he's somewhat right.. Buckethead has made a few variations of this 'melody'; same tuning just different tempos/feel. On YouTube search: Buckethead - Whitewash (live), 'Sail On Soothsayer', and 'Praxis - Interworld and the New Innocence'.
