This is impossible. A finish time 8 hours-15min, how can someone last that long? IMHO it's the highest physical pressure you can put in your body. I envy all those athletes who can cross the finish line

i also race with "Middle-of the line" equiptment.

and here's keep reminding myself, that it's not the gear, but the participant who counts. just look athe the ironman times 15 years ago, theyre only off by like 5-6 minutes of current records.. so technically i don't think it's the technical gear, but more the heart, crissie owns (; that's just it :P
