The ones that don't care are, well, mal-adjusted. But let's consider "some" of the rock types, for a minute. Every other white rock star in the past has made bad publicity for one reason or another.

Yeh I totally get what you're saying, but the way I see it, I expect more from our black family, seeing as we were once kings and queens. From what I see, the most successful and recognised artists are far from showing their royal heritage. I wish they did show that side to them.

@saffieyz That's interesting. All of Africa couldn't have been royalty. Someone had to rule over someone else. I would conclude most were "commoners." But personally, I don't cling to the monarhcy as closely as others of the consciousness do. Monarchs aren't necessarily scientific, creative or industrious. They are just rulers, pointers of fingers if you will. That's why Britian's populace clash. Some feel a prime minister is good enough. I feel the same concerning the presidency.

@saffieyz But I understand your sentiment. It's about carrying yourself in an upstanding way whether you're a ditch-digger or a senator. MLK said be the best whatever you are that you can be. It's not so much in the royalty but in the notariety. A good name or reputation is better than riches and gold. And anybody can have that, king or commoner. But it depends on the individual.
