She just sings too loud. For example, Chris sings it much more slowly, and it gives much more feeling to the song. And this... it's not exactly bad, but Chris has the essence of the song captured in a lovely and amazing way and Avril... it kind of seems like she's not feeling it. It seems much more like a song of rage and Chris sings it like he's missing someone, like he's pouring his heart out.
