@43RedRaider one of 999's many good points is that it takes away the 71,000 page monstrosity we call a tax code, getting rid of the who knows how many sneak-a-taxes, loopholes and Lord knows what else that are in it. And as for the Tax increases? it gets rid of the capital gains taxes, it gets rid of the death tax, the payroll tax is reduced from 15.3 % to a solid 9% (less if you do charitable contributions), the corporate tax is reduced from an average of 35% (highest in the world) to 9%,

So now the question is, where are the tax increases? i await your response.
@CrusaderAmerica Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon now have 0 sales tax. They would have a 9% increase on that. At least 12 states would have average sales taxes over 17 percent because the 9% FEDERAL sales tax ADDS to STATE sales tax. California, for example, would come in at a combined rate of 17.13 percent. EVERYONE'S sales tax increases 9%, everywhere.

@CrusaderAmerica But i do agree that the current tax plan is a mess and it needs to be fixed. I just don't think 999 is the answer. In my opinion, Ron Paul is the only one who has a plan bold enough to fix the financial crisis. Now that cain is out, I recommend seriously looking at Ron. I know a lot of cain supporters think he's nuts, but thats only because of A) the media and B) the paul-cain supporters go at it so much that they hate each other's candidates. It's childish
@43RedRaider And i do like Ron in a number of areas, and his debt plan is not half bad (used to be a major Ron fan not too long ago) i would recemend a combination of both if i had my way. but foreign policy kills the guy, he blames 911 on US for have bases in Syria. He wouldn't be a good leader against a rising China in my opinion. and yes sad that Cain isn't running anymore. but Ron isn't on the top of the list quite yet.

Herman Cain supported the Big Banker TARP bailouts. Herman Cain is a fake conservative. He has no plan for Afghanistan and wants to raise your taxes with his 9 9 9 plan. Tennesseans would pay a 18% sale tax on food. Ridiculous. He also supported Romney and the 4th Amendment shredding Patriot Act.
