I saw Cold Blood and ToP on January 10th in Redwood City! AWESOME!!! WAS well worth the drive form Huntington Beach!!!

EAST BAY GREASE!! Look up Cold blood also!! I could tell you stories about that band way back!Good times. The best horn section in the biz.

Yeah, I like the East Bay Grease reference! I have heard of Cold Blood, but have forgotten about them. I'll look for some vids.

I need to add that I think it's an absolute travesty of the highest order that the general public, be they young or older, is mostly unaware of TOP. Can you honestly juxtapose *any* recent pop/backbeat/whatever band alongside this band with any confidence?? Here's to a pipe-dream hope that more young folks (like myself) will hear and enjoy one of the most enjoyable bands in music.

We can do all we can to promote these guys and the music. I even posted my cover of "What is Hip" on my channel page. A few of the comments reflect your thoughts...proving some folks are only learning about TOP for the first time.

Something just occurred to me: When people ask me who my favorite bands are, I never mention TOP. The strangest part of this is that they are, without question, one of the best bands on the planet. To make the understatement of the decade, this band plays just...plain...good...music. I was at this show, and this band will *never* disappoint. I'm trying really hard to think of any music that I love which noticeably exceeds this, and I can't. Here's to many more years of shows.
