  • Thank you! Bet it's wonderful in Sanibel right now! Messiaen's music (especially the earlier work on which Vocalise is based) is religious in nature, so I think it correct to assume he was depicting what Heaven must be like. While Sanibel is not Heaven, for us it's pretty close! Check out some of my other work under logoxyz, and please enjoy!
