Undoubtedly Giles Scrote(farmer) was the supreme Scrote.I contacted Ch4 on the possibility of a DVD release but heard no more. Let`s keep on it.

I think it was first shown in 1990, and repeated in 1992 when I recorded them all. I think Giles Scrote the farmer was the best, but they were all amazing.

will probably never be put out on dvd again, but I do remember the half a set of six from way back.

I agree with all of you. This was a quality show. I have 5 of the 6 on tape and I'm only missing this episode (David 'Topshot' Scrote). They should put these out on DVD.

I'd love to swap but I have no way of transferring VHS to DVD at the moment. I also have no way of copying videos (I live in the US now and my UK VHS won't play here). Sorry. Maybe sometime next year I'll get the equipment to be able to make DVDs from VHS.

This was pure qaulity not many people have heard of it, my favourites were the grass and the farmer. I can't believe C4 have never give it another showing. LadyAmaz hope you can get the vid on here would love to watch it again.

Set of Six was, in my view, one of C4's highest quality productions. LadyAmaz, if you can get your video transferred here, I for one, will be truly grateful! Toss up for me between David and Ronnie Scrote as to which were the best. This all started when Rivron appeared on The Last Resort as Dr. Martin Scrote, complete with his 'Bag o' fun'

Quality, virtually no-one saw this series but it was pure class. Thought the best characters were the supergrass and the tramp (you were made for me, everybody tells me so). Missed one of the six and still haven't seen it as I don't this was even repeated.

brilliant,they came out on video called half a set of six.the doctor,the grass and the farmer one, though sadly not the tramp in which Cathy Burke played a part.would love to see them released on dvd .
