remember... AC 1-3, is at future time...its like reverse story... since Ace Combat Zero story is around 15 or 25 years before the event of Ace Combat 5 Unsung War ^_^

@Warfogiver Excalibur and Stongehedge are superweapons built by different nations on different continents in the Ace Combat world. I believe that a reasonable explanation is that the laser technology never spread that far. Osea having the tech would make sense because they share the same continent with Belka, but Erusa and the ISAF are nations on Usea, another continent. Arkbird has a laser as well since it was a joint effort between Yuktobania and Osea to build a meteor interceptor.

maybe a silly/to-serious quesiton... but why is a fueling tanker flying into a hot-zone against a fixed AA weapon? That's like put into a group soldiers an artillery shell ready to blow haha

that mission is a piece of cake in Ace Mode, so easy a caveman can do it (no offense)

Nice flying patterns, just like Mobius 1 's video in the 4th AC

Try destroying the ACE in that mission, he's faster than Mobius 1 in the free missions (not the jamming Radar Aircraft)

He appears at the far end to the upper right, gl against him (with those skills u can take him)

Zero's gameplay is pretty much the same as ace combat 5's is, but the storyline isn't quite as extensive as Ace Combat 5. That said, the story is a bit more interesting. I think you'll like AC 0.

No, wasn't tracking it, when there's no target highlighted/locked-on, you can zoom in with HUD view. I had to aim up a little bit cuz the missiles drag down a bit :D

May I ask how you used missiles to destroy those jammers because I thought you couldn't use them before the jammers were destroyed, still I see you firing missiles at the jammers. Please explain. Not that I think you cheat or anything, but maybe it makes things easier?

Thing is, you can't use the Lock On feature until you destroy the jammers. In the video, I had used the HUD-only view, zoomed in with the triangle button, and lined up the W (it looks like a W, but I never remember the name for it lol) to the target and shot an LASM. The LASM's can travel much farther than standard missiles. And that's how I did it :D

You have to been in semi-cockpit view, the one where it doesn't show the insides of the cockpit (is there another name for that? lol).And to zoom in, you hold down the Triangle button, that one changes targets as well. How hard your press determines the level of zoom, and usually when you're not locked on to a target, it shows your wingman by default. That's the camera goes to Pixy, so there are times you have to push Triangle once, then push and hold to zoom.

If you mean only the view where only the climging degrees, radar and aim lock (withouth the 3D cockpit) it's called HUD (Heads-Up Display). The view which you see the plane from behind is 3rd person.
